You can make a bow caster form Star Wars. Glue the scope on there and cut the bow strings off. You could drill a hole on two foam balls and slide them over the end of the bow arms.
Just got the Easy Shot recently, fun blaster....w/ a comfy grip....and snappy performance. Also I'm proud to say I've added a "Reaper" to my collection as well....( finally) very happy about that 👍
Mongoose looks awesome. Probably picking this up for the collection. Like the color scheme. Might use this in the stock blaster rounds at our local game.
Yes, this is a beautiful little blaster, nice variety from the pump action springers that have flooded the market. Buzzbee's been stepping up their gimmick game.
Interesting blaster. I will have to check it out. Thank you for the review. If the X Shot Bug Attack crossbow was compatible with nerf magazines and elite length darts it would have been a classic. 85-90 FPS from string power is no joke.
I've still got one of those, and barring the restrictions to X Shot only it would've been an all time great blaster. Kind of want to mod mine to half lengths now...
I know I'm going to grab this one. Also, the priming mechanism is quite similar to an actual device medieval arbalests would use to pull the string back on their crossbow. It was called a goat's hoof.
Just went and refreshed myself on that, didn't realize that was what it was called. I've seen them used before (that's why I mentioned that this priming is similar to older crossbows), and Todd's Workshop had a nice little video on it here: th-cam.com/video/En2v2BPOZWc/w-d-xo.html
Hey Jake! Just wanted to ask... and you may have been asked this before... but is any of your collection for sale on somewhere like mercari or ebay? I would love to get my hands on some of your extra blasters you got lying around.
I've actually tried to sell multiple blasters with little luck, thought about starting to give away some here on the channel. I've been giving out tons over the years to local families for free.
This type of priming handle looks so much better on a crossbow type design
Actually fits it quite well, especially as a number of true crossbow designs use something similar.

Glad you like the new EZ Shot, and nice add with the Reaper!
Looks like a fun blaster. I do like the color scheme. Thank you for the video. Take care.
Thanks for dropping by CR, I know you've been quite busy lately!
@@MongooseJakeNerf Always busy with work, family or nerf 😄
Great review as always, thx! Crossbow blasters are always a win 🤗 and this one really seems to be really funny
I think this is the best of the attempted crossbow blasters so far!

It'd do quite well as is for stock games.

It is nice to get something a bit different rather than pump action spring number 587, lol
I have to pick up one of these ez fire for my son
Any of the EZ series is great for younger and smaller users.

I love my X-Shot Bug Attack Crossbow... but this one's cool too. I likes me some crossbows.
If only X Shot had made that one cross compatible... I still have one and enjoy it, and have been thinking of modding it to half darts.
@@MongooseJakeNerf There's a kit for that on Etsy, as I recall.
I need more buzz bee 20 dart mags and 30 dart drums
They need to sell them separately on Amazon!
I know I'm going to grab this one.
