You record the audio on your camera as well as with the H6 recorder. Most good video editing software lets you then synchronize the audio from the video with a separate audio track automatically. If you're using Final Cut Pro, import your video and audio file, select the video and matching audio file, then press Option+Command+G to synchronize the audio. It'll create a synchronized video clip that uses the audio from your recorder instead. You just drag that clip to your timeline and edit that instead of the original video clip. Adobe Premiere and DaVinci have similar functions.
Hi @Plug&Play as far as I remember, all I did was a "Auto-Match" the Loudness of the audio track in Premiere Pro so that you could hear what it sounds like straight out of recorder. I normally also add the "Balanced Male Voice" plugin in the Audio Panel in Premiere Pro when I use this recorder for all of my voiceovers and talking head TH-cam Videos. If you have any other questions please let me know.
Yes, it actually does, but it isn't the best quality, I wouldn't recommend using it. It sounds lie an old radio. It is useful to hear what recordings are on the recorder if you don't have headphones, and you want to be sure before you reformat a card.
I came here for the zoom h6, but left appreciating your artistry. Amazing quality content all round.
Thank you so much! You made my day! I'm glad you found this video helpful and that you enjoyed this review so much! Thanks again!!
Your video is very helpful for me. I just bought the H6. But how do you synchronize recordings on the H6 with your video footage?

That’s very useful to know thanks 🙏
is it good for music recording as well?
Yes, it works great for recording musical instruments and vocals into one audio recorder. You have 4 XLR inputs.
Cool I like the screen
how is the sound quality
The sound quality is very good considering it only around $300 for this recorder!
What processings did u use on your voice?

Do you recommend it this recorder
Of course! Its the recorder I am using! 😀
I like more the classic one
than the black one
Do you mean the previous version of the ZOOM H6?
Does it have an internal speaker built into it?
Yes, it actually does, but it isn't the best quality, I wouldn't recommend using it. It sounds lie an old radio. It is useful to hear what recordings are on the recorder if you don't have headphones, and you want to be sure before you reformat a card.
