Thanks Paul, we put up a separate video of the trade stalls otherwise it would be the length of a Bond film. There is more footage to come later in the week (more trade stalls, boats, cars, aeroplanes etc. Was a busy day! All the best Rick 🎥🍻

Hi Neil, yes it is a bit long and that's without the traders and some other bits. We put the bargain hunt out first as it is a lot easier to edit. There is another half hour video to come with boats, cars and more. It is hard to pick a favourite layout but live steam is always special. Cheers for watching Rick 🍻

Hi Mark, are they really? I hadn't noticed, I can only assume it's due to the video length and maybe the time of year. I know they get more advertisers in the trunk up to Christmas. Ideally I would like to keep our videos down to around 20 minutes but we don't want to leave any of the layouts out of the videos. Thanks for watching anyway. Cheers Rick

Hi Stuart, I'm really tempted to get a small 3 rail layout. When I was a youngster my best friend's Dad had some. Whilst I never saw it running as it was in a box I remember the co-bo and Duchess locos. So yes I think that is something I need to pick up. All the best Rick.
Yes go for it Rick. Its over 50 years old and still running well. Good solid diecast locos and Tinplate stock. I give mine a coat of resin car polish to keep them looking like new.
I'm putting in a new layout at our clubs Open Day on 8th October at the Parrish Hall in New Mills. It won't be finished scenery wise, but it is a proving run as it's to big to put up in our house,! Only a small show, but we do it to advertise our main exhibition at the end of February.

Great layouts on display there, nice fair again.
Been to a fair here yesterday and although most people tend to see that as a big one I had to say I was a bit disappointed.
Good layouts but all in all I found it was lacking a bit.
Maybe I had huge expectations because of the buzz but the fair you've showed us here not only seemed bigger but also more enjoyable.
Anyway, here's an example of what I mean.

Hi Ed, I have to say the quality of those layouts was amazing. Our video was a medium sized show, we have bigger ones here but we have never filmed one. We prefer the smaller/medium shows to be honest. I don't think we could film a large show in just one day as we also like to film the trade stalls and we talk a lot! Cheers for watching Rick.
