Hey drew, a couple things. First of all, you can easily remove the sharpie on Taz’s tongue by drawing over it with dry erase marker. When you wipe off the dry erase marker the sharpie will come off with it. (I know you’re returning him anyways but it’s a nice trick to know) Secondly, I laughed when you said “a nose is the most important part of a grandpa” because my only living grandpa lost his nose to skin cancer.
Dont worry about buying from thrift stores. You aren't "stealing resources" because in actuality, aaround 90% of what goes into thrift stores end up in a landfill. Plus you're being much more sustainable which is always the right move.

The grandpa jokes mean so much to me because my grandpa had surgery last week to remove some cancer from his arm, and I got to take him to his follow up appointments today and bought him his favorite meal from McDonald's afterwards. It weirdly felt really peaceful that, after all the years he spent doing the same for me, I was able to. Now I'm crying.

Thrift stores are the best!! full of little goodies and nice clothes, everyone judges them for being tacky and low class but if you've never been to 1 go to at least 5 before saying you dont like them. everyone normally finds something they like. we just went to a few over the last weekend and got lots of neat stuff and good clothes for fall-time...gales too but the people always make me more nervous.
