Once in a lifetime opportunity for those who are fortunate to travel. My handicap will prevent me from physically attending, but everyone unable to attend will be there in spirit because this is celebration of family that extends beyond the traditional definition. Yet still so meaningful and relevant to those who cherish the show and cast.
You said it best Shyman99, Every Waltons reunion special - brings us closer to The Waltons we Love and to people that we love in our lives too. We mightve missed the other gatherings in Mayville Kentucky and Nashville Tennessee but we will definitely be there in spirit and waiting for Judy to come home and revive it all for us. Thank you Judy for this breathtaking news!! I'm excited and feel like we are all a part of it! 🤠❤👍
I echo shyman99's words & lialisa's.....both took the words out of my thoughts! I definitely join all in spirit as they gather together!! Oh that I could travel. Plus a great excuse for cast members to reunite. Wonderful that Jon is coming from England & that David will be there as well. I smile just thinking of this celebration! 😊

I wish I could go to this! I'm all the way up in New England. I believe it's your channel, Judy, and how you have brought so many Waltons characters forward for interviews that has inspired so many actors to come forward for this event. Hopefully there will be lots of recap available for those of us that won't be there.

Texas is a good state. My aunt lives in Rowette Texas which is near Garland Texas
Why is Richard Thomas rarely ever a part of these events? He seems to have greatly distanced himself.
His work schedule rarely allows him time to attend. For the past 2 years he has been on a theatre tour doing To Kill a Mockingbird so hasn’t been available. He did attend an event in Los Angeles as it was coordinated with when his tour was in LA.
@@judynorton2598Thank you for replying, much appreciated. I am 65, watched "The Waltons" from the very beginning. Grew up in (and still live in) the rural central mountains of Pennsylvania and so related to everything in the show. We have the entire series on DVD and have watched through many times... and the grandkids love to borrow them or watch a few episodes when at Grammy and Pappy's! I greatly appreciate you doing this TH-cam channel.

Wow! Oh Wow! So many of the cast is going to be there. Only John Boy, Richard was not mentioned. This is going to be so emotional for the cast (and all of us who love the show). Omgosh! I so wish i could afford to go. I loved the Waltons, i still watch them on TV & i stream it on Prime. I loved you all, it was such a closeness you all seemed to have as a family. I felt like i could jump right in and be a part of it all 😂 I enjoy your videos so much and being able to catch up on all of you and what you are doing. Its like a big high school reunion! 😅 I'm sure its going to be a wonderful time. I hope you all enjoy spending time together again.

NYC had some weirdo snow storms the past two weeks and then it goes back to rain every week now.
My only son Jon is in the midst of higher education dilemmas and its kinda overwhelming. But I always come here and listen to Judy and read posts and it lightens the spirit. Thank you. PS Yes I have considered Facebook, but I am afraid of being hacked. Sounds crazy. But it sure would be cool to see everyone there.

Morning Judy! I wish I was not so far away to see most of the cast. I just ordered John’s CD that Earls voice and short stories are in. It is amazing..
Judy I just watched the episode where Grandpa died…at the end of that show, how was it possible to keep a dry eye at his gravesite talking to about him. Just watching the expressions on all of your faces revealed how close and what he “ Will “ meant to you all. The opening comments for the show is enough to put a lump in your throat.

Good news concerning Jon! I follow his Facebook page and I believe he had posted earlier that he was unable to attend. Glad the situation has changed!
Also glad that so many of the supporting cast members are willing (and able) to help keep the show fresh, alive and at the forefront for this generation, not only via TH-cam but in person as well. Here's a thought: Has John Dayton or any of the set or production staff ever attended a reunion?

Not sure if there have been any last minute additions or cast that have had to bow out - but will still be a great gathering. I’m sure John Dayton would love to attend if he were able. There was a gathering a couple of years ago that one of our Assistant Directors went to, unfortunately it was one I wasn’t able to attend so I missed him.

Oh wow, what a fantastic event and special weekend that will be. Living in England and just having returned back from a holiday abroad, I won't be able to attend due to work and caring commitments. I have to plan 6-12 months in advance of any such trips due to those afore mentioned commitments however, I do have hope that one day I will make it to those shores to meet as many of the cast as possible at a similar event. Thanks for the update, Ms. Norton! Great news about David Doremus participating at Waco. Any updates about him possibly doing your TH-cam platform? Many of us would love to hear from him. I really liked him on "Nanny and the Professor" and on your show later in the 70's.
