It's not literally seeing the notes, but music is relative. If you're signing one note, the next note will be higher or lower maybe by a third or a fifth and moving your hand up and a down the same amount helps to hit the notes.
It's like when you tap your foot to the beat to stay in time.

I am so surprised when I watch people react to her and Arijit because they seemed to never have heard such intricate melodies. I grew up with their music so I am just so used to it that I only realise how special their voices are when I see reactions. You guys should listen to Arijit Singh. Shreya and Arijit are like the King and Queen of Bollywood music, they are out of this world.
Fun fact:Indian singers don't use falsettos and has to work a lot to hit that high notes in chest or sometimes mixed voice.....perfect example shreya Ghoshal 😊🖤

Playback singers are super famous in india. India is huge on music and even though they're not in the movie, they tour and hold concerts and have their own shows. Yeah they're pretty famous for their voices😂 Movies are considered differently. And the singers are considered differently.

Lovely reaction guys. As a Brit who started listening to South Asian music about a year ago it definitely has a special place in my heart. My favourite so far has to be Tinak Dhin from Coke Studio. Not the best technique wise but its my happy song. I wish we has something similar to Coke Studio in the UK

To be honest Indian Music is more complicated than rest of others. Indian music contains many raagas, elevations than English music scales. That's the reason they play with vocals

Playback singers are extremely famous over here in India...they all have tons of followers and fans...their live shows are always in demand 🔥...singers like, Arijit and Shreya are extremely on demand and expensive to book for shows.

As a sign of respect, most Indians will stand up when a person who is near and older than them stands up or walks in.
