You dummy head is small. Get the exact one she's using.....I have been using it ,recreating all her wigs and it always comes out fine and exactly like hers.
So sorry dear, two things are possible, either your dummy head is small or the cap was not well stretched to the edges of the mannequin thereby causing it to be smaller than it should be. Good luck on your next trial👍
