Hey Madi, couldn't tell how you were actually using the tweezers, but just to be clear, and for anyone reading: The tweezers are actually used with the points facing up; the rounded side facing down (toward the skin). The two round/flat prongs can be pressed down into the skin, creating pressure on either side of a blackhead, and once it starts extruding, you can slowly squeeze the ends together to get all the gunk out. The pointy end is not actually used for much, i.e. not used as a pick or to poke. The tweezers give more gentle control than the circular-hole extractor does. Hope that's helpful information.
