I remember buying a handful of Extravagant Replications for $2 a piece a little after New Capenna came out. My justification was that it was one of the few unique cards that could create copies of enchantments. I wasn’t even banking on an ‘upkeep-matters’ commander existing.

It was too long especially for people that didn't care about certain formats.
Most formats unfortunately don’t matter anymore outside of major competitions. Commander is the main driver.

Yikes! Glad I picked up my shallow grave for about half of this about a month ago. I put it off for a few years and it climbed up substantially since 2020. First time I wanted to pick it up it went for $15 lol

I got lucky with shallow grave lol it was like 2012 and I was looking for cheap cards for the cube I was building and got it for I think just a couple bucks I discovered it’s price in 2020 and was like damn 😅

But can you name the other 3 characters on Tsabo's Web? (Which in itself is a filler card for some artifact that didn't pass R&D, so they printed this to help combat Rishadan Port instead).
One looks like Gerrard, I think that's Crovax is on there in the upper right. I'm really not sure of the one in the lower left.

I think you are right. I feel like it may be tough to consistently get the damage across for the extra upkeep triggers.
Why I enjoy Doctor #9. Extra upkeep without needing damage
I think Obeka is extremely mediocre. The evasion is not impressive, you need to connect which makes it slow. She comes down at an awkward time as well. Do you play her first then her payoffs exposing her to removal? Or do you set up then play her which makes the deck even slower. If she's not in play your deck is also an absolute dumpster fire of garbage upkeep trigger permanents. I would be very surprised if this wasn't a flash in the pan
