Idk man that's a light lure and light rod and casting one handed 100yds obviously is 300ft I have a hard time believing that on that set up especially one handed.

Grew up casting an all bushing procasyer, and I was able to cast it out of line with a 1/4 buzzbait. Sometimes, I wonder about my 8 to 10 ball bearing reels
Looked like probaly 25-30 yards. Which is still pretty commendable keeping in mind that most people can only cast a surf rod with 3 ounces about 80-90 yards
My dad use to fish tournaments when he worked for this Oil Rig company that would hold annual tournaments around some of the known lakes around Oklahoma in late 80’s and early 90’s but long story short I got a couple of 88’ Daiwa reels from my dad and they look kinda weird shaped like the one in this short
I have a hard time believing someone is casting that small of a lure unless maybe a jig, with that light of a rod, a whole football field in distance one handed... Maybe, maybe,maybe... 100ft but I highly doubt 100 yards
I wanna get into rod and reel fishing so bad but I can't find good rods or reels or really any decent fishing equipment in my part of the country, would have to travel down south to the shore in Karachi to get good equipment and it's sooo far away!! 🥲

pond is maybe 60 yards long at the maximum and that is being generous, concept cs will throw 20 yards farther and are half the weight
