You’re missing the point of the song. It’s a song about a good person who keeps on doing things right and being good, but they just can’t get better. The concept of karma is that if you’re good, good things happen to you, and the narrator of the song, who seems to be speaking to a therapist, is at first in denial and saying they’re perfectly fine, then bursts out in frustration with the bridge being that anger at not being ok when they’ve been so good exploding in this sort of scream, and then the last part comes to the narrator feeling weak, and sort of giving in and admitting defeat about the situation in a sort of “I tried to do what you told me to do, but I can’t still don’t feel better” way. That’s the point of the song for the character, they’ve been someone good but it feels like no matter how hard they try, the cards are stacked against them. Try not to be so superficial about these things, it helps to make you a better person :)
