The Chrysanthemum is the flower of the month for November, and this beautiful flower comes with a wide variety of meanings all across the globe. In Asia the chrysanthemum signifies life and rebirth, making them great gifts for birthdays and baby showers. In Europe the chrysanthemum signifies an expression of sympathy. Chrysanthemum’s are typically looked at as a flower that signifies respect and honor in America.
Since the chrysanthemum was first cultivated in China, the flower still holds deep cultural significance to this day, especially in art. The chrysanthemum is one of the Four Gentleman, which include the plum blossom, the orchid, and bamboo. These are the four main plants depicted in traditional Chinese watercolor paintings, and are derived from Confucianism.
In Japan, the official seal for the Imperial family is a chrysanthemum with 16 petals and is used for official government documents. In the military, the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum is the most prestigious honor that can be awarded by the Emperor.

- Green cardstock paper 80gsm.
- Sizzix cutting die machine
- Scissors, tacky glue, floral wire, floral tape, hot glue gun, embossing stylus.

Hello, love your works so much I did couple of tutorials from your videos. I just wonder if does the embossing stylus also works on a 300gsm paper like watercolor paper? I wanna buy one myself but I have to make sure if it works. Thank u 😊😊
hi dear,usually they will work but it will be difficult because 300gsm paper is quite thick, you should wet them before working or try with thinner paper !
