I literally love this drama bc the 2 ML have rlly strong chemistry, both are hot and w good acting skills, suitable for roles too. It could have made a wonderful brotherly love-theme drama but WHY MUST THAT STUPID FEMALE LEAD RUIN EVERYTHING and marry Lu Yao!!!! Sigh i felt sooo sad for Chu Sheng every time he walked away in silence seeing the 2 of them together. Feels like they love each other but can’t say it.
Well, cant blame her bcs it's unfortunately not BL. But yeah, kinda agreem i mean, dude, what kinda brotherly friends treat other friends with that kinda oh-so-good chemistry and like a couple. Like in the restaurant. They went for dinner, then the violin thing and help to put on a watch??!! That's hell like proposal xD
Sigh, if only the lead female character wasn't so obviously shoehorned in this series, it would have been MILES better. It's obvious by the script that the "Youning" wasn't meant to be the love interest. They could have still included her character, but it didn't need to be as a romantic interest. Women and men CAN just be friends, too. *Sigh*
They are not a couple, but the chemistry is insane :) Hope you enjoy!

All i found is, Lu Yao extremely self centered. And there is no hint of these two even being good friends so far ...finished 8episodes

I liked the story of the drama and I loved the chemistry in those two they are just so good together but that freaking female lead made me drop the drama at the 5th ep she was getting on my nerves sooo bad... so now I'm just watching these fmv of those two..I might continue watching it but not in the near future

Absolutely love this. I've fairly recently gotten into cdramas, and this is my third show w/ Hu Yitian. These two work so freaking well together. There's something so beautiful here, but, the only way we'll get to see that is through the fandom.
I don’t really love the detective thing but somehow I’m hooked on this two I don’t know why but I’m so interested on how this friendship will go on to the next level and hoping that they will become a couple....❤️😊😍

I didn't even have to read all the comments for me to now that this drama is Chinese. So I thought, well this must be a bromance which is good too. For some reason, China has very good bromance's series. I was about to go watch this but then I read about the annoying girl and I won't do it. Amazing video💜💜

They really thought that throwing a completely irrelevant and annoying female character out of no where will stop us from shipping the male leads lmfao, I feel kinda bad for the actress who played as Youning xd
I watched few episodes but ... but the girl is sooo annoying that i just couldn’t continue. Maybe I’ll watch the rest of episodes in the future but I definitely will skip her parts. This is such a good show. I am not saying that i want them to be together, “bromance” is enough for me too. Sometimes i just want a show were girl and romance won’t be involved.
This girl though 😩... maybe if diferent actress was playing her role but idk, it’s just that actress is annoying me ( i am in no way hating on her but i do have preferences)

Youning isn't annoying. It's part of her character. Maybe if you sticked with the series, you would know Youning's reason for her behavior. If it weren't for Youning, their lives wouldn't be this tangled and they wouldn't have a strong bond. And at the end, Lu Yao might have to need to return to his family. If it weren't for Youning, even with him and Chusheng's strong relationship, Lu Yao might actually return to his home voluntarily. But he didn't because of his love for Youning. Lastly, Xiao Yan deserved that role and she killed it.
At first I felt the same about the girl, I almost stopped watching the drama but I still continued... when it reached on ep 30-36, I noticed the chemistry between Lu yao and the girl... well for me I was satisfied with it, until I observed the way how Qiao look at Lu yao, and I was like damn! These aint the eyes of a brother😂😍
