Sam Wilson: Not a Good Start

Welcome back to the Doctor's Office!
I am bringing you a book of disappointment today. At least in my opinion. Captain America(Sam Wilson) is about to debut to the world in his own movie and we get a book right before the movie comes out that does him absolutely no justice whatsoever.
I was not impressed with this and it felt disingenuous on behalf of Sam who has worked so hard as Captain America.
So lets talk about it.

Yeah I .....did not like that cook out either. As a cap fan it was weird that they chose not to include characters like Battlestar or rayshaun that are part of the cap mythos. And instead place random black people in it. I mean heck, can someone tell me why exactly luke cage couldn't bring his wife Jessica? Or heck, why do we have cloak and no dagger?(Especially since they literally cannot be far apart from each other).

Isaiah Bradley does not know that man. Cloak doesn’t know him. Brother Voodoo doesn’t need to be there. Iron Heart doesn’t need to be there, the one next to blade doesn’t need to be there.
They just grabbed a bunch of black people and were like … this works when it in fact does not

You know blade and Sam aren't the best of buddies right? Blood hunt alone should mean he shouldn't be in the cookout to begin with. But there is a history between Sam and blade where blade tried hooking up with Sams girlfriend misty knight at the time.
