- We got a new shop tool! We got a new Taylor GT40 forklift for the shop. We also gave our old Big Moe forklift a facelift in the process!

Thank you for supporting American made products. I'm a 20+ year civil servant and the pay is poor so I can't always buy American. I try to buy old stuff, vintage tools as they say, but sometime I have to buy whatever is available. When I do a auto repair project I usually have to buy a tool. I buy the best I can. Buy once, cry once as my brother used to say.

That Eagle.. oh boy did Kevin do a sweet paint job on it.. it looked gorgeous! Just missing some bling fleck in the top coat to make it glisten in the sun.. Nevermind "Pimp my ride..." it's "Pimp my Plant" (Not sure if you guys use the word plant like we do here in the uk for heavy machinery)

As a forklift operator of 34 years I’ve never operated a forklift as big as “Big Red” what a nice lift! The new Gt50 is a beast for its size also 👍🏻👍🏻
I like the new forklift. I love that “Big Red” forklift too., and the restoration work is awesome.., but the best thing about “Big Red”., is it is “Made in the USA”…, yeah baby…, awesome.

Back in the early 70's when I was a teenager, a lumber company across the street from my middle school had one of those giant Taylor forklifts. It would unload a semi loaded with Longleaf Southern pine in one lift.
Nice paint job, only thing letting the Big Red down is the exhaust, you need to get Mike and Aaron to put on a propper one for you. 😂🤣

I grew up a few miles from Taylor. Great stuff. You should see one of their big machines unload a log truck at a sawmill. One pick and done.

Fantastic paint job Kevin! Great addition to the shop Clint. I'd definitely get Kevin to repaint the Dragline Clint. Only thing I would do differently is remove the name plate on the back, sandblast it and have it powder coated.

Biggest lift/crane I've ever seen was down at the Alaska Railroad main maintenance shop in Anchorage down at the Port. 600 ton overhead, it was a different color of red too🤣, they said they could lift a locomotive from one work bay to another. The double hook was massive.😳
