We have had the same drama with our grain king JH, after a lot of stuffing around we just replaced the whole top flighting and shaft and now it runs perfectly and didn’t have any issues this harvest
Not sure if it is still available, but when I was in business 20 years ago we had a grease from Lubrication Engineers branded 1233, which was the best grease for universal joints I have ever seen. Yo may remember that Chamberlain 80 series tractors had those two small shafts joining the engine to the gearbox, and they were notorious for blowing those joints. After starting to use that grease, we went from stocking six of the joints to two, solely the result of the grease and its ability to stay in the cross.
Hi Tom Brook at 1:59 it was grain what bent it and where it folds it not moving the grain quick enough that why some people put double flying in there on the top auger and with your other issue make sure that the top springs on top auger is working should be greased some telling me that it's seized up or the springs broken is what push your auger down and keep's pressure on it Tom Brook hopefully that help you out 👍👍or you need to talk to Lenny 👍
I see the issue now Tom at 2:38 see your bottom auger your support bracket is in the wrong area your grain is getting stuck because it's get restricted and the top auger hitting the support brackets what causes your top auger to be bent in so that is your issue is the bracket and it need to be moved to the top of it

Didn’t think there would be too many objections to an early night and a couple of cold ones. What a great Boss.👌👍

Great way to finish harvest food and beers Dad will get back to being a pensioner again now😂
Isn’t it just that your auger flighting is worn so they don’t line up when you swing the auger up?
