Chasing the shallow from off alignment, is recipe for touchdowns. In zone you stop Mesh/Shallow by the opposite Curl/Flat defender. I'm not a fan of the new buzz words and stuff. If zone coverage is taught correctly, all this other shit isn't needed. But when people think of cover 3, they think of fat little league/high school coaches telling DB's "line up at 7-8 back pedal and don't get beat deep.." which is the absolute worst advice ever for them.
