In these eposodes I often wonder if the perpetrator watches the episode pertaining to his crime and thinks, 'Yup, should have done that differently'. 🤷♀️
I am so enthralled with The New Detectives and how these law enforcement officers solve the mysteries of homicides by examining video surveillance footage & questioning their suspects. It takes so much effort yet so rewarding by catching the bad people. Thank you!
Luckily the first guy was still denied parole as of 2023. And the officer who cut up the floppy disk, why was it ever anywhere near him under the citcumstances? And how did they let him cut it into tiny pieces? You cant make that many cuts in one motion like they suggest.
I think if someone is stupid or cruel enough to murder someone you might as well hand yourself in or go home and wait for detectives because these brilliant people will get you in the end
It’s weird watching them set up an elaborate film camera system photo a shotgun shell when now have such easy access to high speed videography that the Mythbusters could use it to dissect explosions and film bullets being split in half, and that was over a decade ago. Technology moves fast. I can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon.
i can't even imagine, what must have been into that man's heart and mind, knowing that his daughters must be safe with his wife, only to find out that she was so stupid, that she agreed to take the girls on a fking boat, with a fking stranger. unbelievable... some adults are worse than teenagers in the upper department
This happened if I remember correctly in 1989. People weren't nearly as cautious then as they generally didn't need to be. Things like this used to be far and few between. Hell, I used to feel safe walking by myself at night in a large city and talking to people I didn't know. It wasn't that unusual. You have to consider the time this happened. Add to that, they came from a farming community where people would have been more trusting yet.
I can see that happening. She was trying to show her daughters a good time. Psychopaths are very smooth, persuading them to go. They had already spoken with him many times by then.
A woman getting 12 years in prison for murder yet a man goes to prison for 25 years to life for the same crime. That's when you know justice system is broken
Everytime a channel starts talking about Joan Rogers and her two girls I can't change it fast enough. Side note: when are reporters and narrators going to stop calling them the three Rogers women. Her daughters were 14 and 16.
Good Morning SouFlo these people like to hear bad news they hate to hear anything good. I was married for over 40 Years, and when he died that was when the chatting started . My Husband was a Military man just like you we always talked it out. Not everything that goes on in your Marriage should be on Social Media. You have to be careful who you tell your story to, because not everybody wants to see good for you both. Take advice from people who has been Married for a long time you are a big man not a boy. Take no notice of them, they love to hear bad news.
That first case was genuinely fascinating, seeing how a police photographer does his job.
Yea I've never been that impressed with this show, but this episode was done much differently and was way more interesting.

I have also thought that same thing! I know I’d be watching it! Lol

Was amazed by the photography information

Watching many of these cases we have the opprtunity of travelling into the not-so-distant past and see how things used to be.
Thanks!
Freaky Friday continues!! Thanks so much. 👍🥰
Tf am I about to watch

So fascinating
12 years in prison?!
&&& 12 years was definitely a slap in the face towards the family . . .😢😢😢
What mother would go with a stranger and take her beautiful daughters to an isolated place? On the water, nowhere to run or hide?
I can see that happening. She was trying to show her daughters a good time. Psychopaths are very smooth, persuading them to go. They had already spoken with him many times by then.
Love this show
😊😊Thank you !!!

I agree it's broken but I've seen the exact opposite

Yeah, this case gives me the creeps, such a stupid decision by the mother and a horrible way to die.
12 years for murder?

?
there's not too many police that go out of there way to solve a crime, especially here in Tulsa.
I believe this.
🎉❤ Well done Gladys and Lin, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 please let us see your son or daughter soon. Enjojoy
How can a young girl get shot in crossfire during a parade? Was it Juneteenth again?
These are all old episodes and technology has improved vastly. But, FFS, can camera technology not be improved?
Why do you call it a Sardering iron? It’s the process of Soldering!
American English language as it’s worse , love from England
Its, not it's; British English language at its worse. It's means "it is." Its denotes ownership. Love from the United States.
Soldering iron.
It’s called an accent.
Are you bored 😅
The narrator sounds like he may have a cold
28:13 it's bird shot
❤❤❤❤❤
The "New" Detectives? Showing video tape players? I don't think so.
That was the name of the show back then. But you already know that, right?
☹️
(Zoë’s Mumma) I cannot believe the police thought a wiring malfunction (in drier)started the fire!!Especially with unburnt clothing in the drier!!
They wouldn't burn inside a dryer unless it got so hot it melted it. They are inside the dryer
Bad wiring in dryers has caused many fires
commercials are now every 2 minutes. that's a bit pathetic isn't it?
That's strange. I'm halfway through and there might have been 2
🤏
thank feck we dont live in america
I'm sure things like this do not happen in your country, huh
