Oh my word! I could watch this all day! Amazing teacher! Very clear and understanding. Thank you very much. Will try these exercises- after having 5 kids!!! This is much needed.
Awesome, I am so glad to hear this, Diana! If you have any more questions, I will be hosting a LIVE Online Workshop this upcoming Thursday, July 16th on EST 11am-1pm. So, two FULL hours of workshopping interaction focused on DR. Please do stay connected.
Hi Brooke I am interested in your live workshop. I am based in England and wondering what the time difference might be. I am working full time and finish work 5:30pm English time. Is there another option if I am unable to attend live? What is the cost?
Hi, Marcia! The cost is $45 USD and does include the recording of the workshop if you are unable to attend live. I think with the time difference you may miss 75% of it live because I believe you are 5 hours ahead of EST ? is that correct? You can head here to my studio site and learn more & enroll there (of course would love to have you!) : www.studioclasique.com/diastasis-recti-workshop
CoreSelf Hi Brooke I just signed up for your monthly subscription. I need to start as a beginner because i know nothing about palettes. I have been doing some basic yoga but feel I need help especially with the diastasis. Wish me luck but if I have questions after using your websites I will message you. Thanks Marcia
@@marciahiggins2680 Thank you so much for joining CoreSelf! There is a DR video within the membership content. As well as helpful cues in every video. Starting with the Fundamentals~Water Section of the content is a great idea.
Hi, A C, this is a great question. I would definitely need to be able to interact with you more to help with this and would always recommend you stay in touch with your body and do what is best for you. This workout can be done once or twice a day to help redefine that center line integrity. But of course, would love to have you in my live online workshop this Thursday, July 16th, from 11am-1pm EST, where we could talk more directly.
Can I still go for long walks ride my stationary bike Workout my legs and my arms lifting weights with muscle separation? Or do I need to make sure I'm healed first? Thank you so much for your workout!
Hi, Dolores, each person's journey with DR is very unique. I would recommend working with someone in person to get that type of specific advice. But I have seen great improvement with short Pilates workouts each day. You have to check in with yourself. If you are supporting your centerline with surrounding muscles, great! If you are tired, it may become more difficult to remember to do so. So check in with yourself and with a professional to help, but these short Pilates workout can support you. I also have a digital workshop on my Pilates Education site that you can check out if you are interested www.returnfivepilates.com/redefining-strength-diastasis-recti
I've been powerlifting and weightlifting for years now but I've always had a weak core and I have to say Pilates is really helping me out
