The worst part about staying home sick from school wasn't the sickness itself; it was having to watch Nick Jr. when all you wanted to watch was regular Nickelodeon.
I watched all three parts of these videos. Most of these are true for a 90s kid like me. I was born in 1990 and got to experience a lot of these growing up. For some odd reason, AOL Instant Messenger really hit me in the feels. Hearing all those sounds. I chatted with quite a few people on there back then, even on Yahoo and MSN Messenger. My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I used to chat on both Yahoo and AOL Instant Messenger when we first started dating.
I think some of my earliest videogames were those PC discs with educational games. I remember a rube goldberg one, a math one, one with an orange cat, and one that had cat and mouse loaded on to it
Always love these videos they take me back to my childhood. I remember one specific Hot Wheels commercial for color changing cars I think were called Hot Wheels Color FX cars. I used to get the Nic mags and i loved them so much. Snick I think was were they played ALL THAT, KEENAN & KEL, and the athletic shows like LotHT and GUTS. The Squeezits and Lunchables I used to take to school for lunch so those were so nostalgic. Love that you included the Super Mario SNES opening it's a classic no doubt. Never played the Final Fantasy games. all clips are so rad. Thank you for keeping the 90's alive.
7:35 Koosh! Remember the King of Queens episode where Doug's boss takes his Koosh? "woo-hoo" then he has to break into his office to get it back hahaha
Nickelodeon Magazine! I had a subscription as a kid. I didn't have a Game Boy. I had a Game Gear instead. I did get a Game Boy Color eventually, however. I was 8 when Gullah Gullah Island debuted. I watched it. I'd rather have egg salad than Lunchables How about the fhe one before Ninja Turtles? Didn't play FF3 until VC My childhood experiences with AOL were watching my grandfather. I even enjoyed the dialup sounds. Also, last time you forgot "welcome" before "You've got mail". Charmeleon is my favorite Pokemon I wasn't that interested in Power Rangers after seeing the B-movie footage they used for the action scenes. I have Turbo on iTunes now. I remember Marvin's Magic Drawing Board
That jingle after the Konami logo always gives me chills. I grew up playing games like Contra III, Sparkster, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors even though I could only beat 1 of those games lol
Chef Boyardee: Feed the Need. Cartoon Cartoons Summer Resort. SNICK and the SNICK couch. Are You Afraid of the Dark. Nick Arcade. Wild and Crazy Kids. What Would You Do. Family Double Dare. Hey Dude. Adventures of Pete & Pete. Clarissa Explains It All. The Secret World of Alex Mack. Woof! (1989-1997). 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. Salute Your Shorts. Kennan and Kel. Good Burger. Ahhh Real Monsters. Cousin Skeeter.
We didn't care so much about race and skin color then. We also weren't on the bottom of the education scores for developed countries... I hope this doesn't end up the highest peak of the USA.
what decade in the 1900's? As early 1900's kids more so only had books n such non-electronics then but the last 3 decades there was more fun stuff as TV was being used or whatnot! As I myself being born in 1982 and more so starting KG in 1988 n more so schooling was from then til 2001 it went way diff than it is today cause I was in the special classes alongside my regular 1s n did more interesting type of stuff and allowed to be as kid w/o hovering parents like it is today. As far as church goes the only part I didn't like then was the hour plus sermon after Sunday school was over!
Gahhh 😜! WHATEVER YOU ARE...MAKE ME A PIZZA 🍕🍕🍕! Edit: Geez...what is it with all the goodbye songs that get to you lol. Goodbye goodbye good friends goodbye, cause now it's time to go...
@@The90sAreRad I definitely understand that. I thought the parent company for Barney either gave up on Barney or went under, but maybe I'm thinking of something else. Maybe just, like, the first 5-10 seconds of it (before the kids sing). If it's short enough, *most* companies don't do anything. I've seen full Barney episodes on TH-cam and nothing is done about it. Sorry, I kinda went on a tangent there. He was my favorite icon of learning growing up. Keep your account safe, dude. I respect it. 😃👍
I want to go back to the 90s
The worst part about staying home sick from school wasn't the sickness itself; it was having to watch Nick Jr. when all you wanted to watch was regular Nickelodeon.
That nickelodeon magazine commercial, I can still quote it!
Yes! I started saying it out loud like a cult member 😂

I was born in 1992 and I remember almost everything except nickelodeon magazine lol. But ya I used msn too

Omg the big blue house!!! Brought back memories
Don't be sad it's gone... be happy it's in our hearts forever!
It’s depressing I wish I had a time machine I miss the old days 😔
Very sad and I wish I could relive the 90s
Not just in our hearts but in TH-cam compilations lol
Does anyone else still remember how that All Star Lunchables Cola tasted??? Used to get the hot dog one 🤣
one show that's missing from these compilations is the Magic School Bus
I've used the magic school bus in some of my videos and it either gets blocked in all countries or it gets a copyright claim
@@The90sAreRad oh jeez really I wonder why
3:57 Omigosh! !Jumpstart First Grade! I had this game! Spent most of my childhood playing it!
I loved it!
2:27 this sequence is genius. I laughed so hard 😂
it's pretty good lol
Omg. Haven't seen that nickelodeon magazine ad since I was like 8. I'm 34 now and somehow I was still able to quote it.
Cool 😎 stuff
I hate that this time in my life was so long ago. I wish kids today could experience this.
I legit lost it at Tim Allan. *LOL!* I remember these!!!!

I used to feel sorry for the Squeezeit bottles. I miss those days
It's funny how I'm that real, live grown-up now. Also it's funny that i can see the predatory advertising going on there. Lol
may not be from the 90s, but grew up with VHS so 2:21 sticks in my head. Thanks Mark Elliot (the narrator) for the nightmares!
7:35 Koosh! Remember the King of Queens episode where Doug's boss takes his Koosh? "woo-hoo" then he has to break into his office to get it back

They played that AD at least 50 times a day I swear 😂 as soon as it played I knew all the words
I think I saw the Nickelodeon Magazine Ad at least 1000 times😂😂
Right? It is likevi have it memorized. As it was playing it kept unlocking in my brain just now.
What is the song at 6:50? I knew every note of it but cannot remember what it's from
Okay, legit tears hearing Luna's goodbye song.
You should put in X-Men, Bobby’s World, Animaniacs, One Saturday Morning theme song, and the Chia commercial.
I love ❤️ that we have paramount plus childhood unlocked
Konami, one of the companies back then who could actually make a decent licensed port of a game.

Omg, I used to love Gullah Gullah Island!
Zoombini's is available on Steam
Did someone remember the 2:30 sound where appears? i try to remember but i cant
It's home improvement!
90s (1990-2004 was the best time ever. But 2005 onward is when the word went to shit :/
nah! 1980-2001 was the best years dude as the world went to crap after Late 2001.
After 2015 the world went to crap 💩 since trump entered the picture

WHERE WAS THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS!? I watched all 3 parts 🤔🥺
It was actually originally in my first part but it got taken down for copyright so I had to remove it and upload it again :(
There were 3 parts?
Omg I miss squeeze it’s
i bet that even something boring like church or school would have been much more fun in the 1900’s..

it's almost like I put it at the end for a reason (; gotta make you feel a little sad when the video ends!
Love ❤️ Gullah Gullah Island watch it all of the time on paramount plus
You can't just show Jason saying "It's morphing time" and then NOT show the full morphing sequence! (I mean, aside for copyright reasons, but still)
oh but I can!
No Zaboomafoo?
Yooooo
maybe sooooonnnn
06:04 😅
I’m 41 years old today and wish I was still a 13 year old kid.
I remember all this
I do too as someone born in late ⏰ 1983
Three parts and not a single "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" (unless the copyright bots nom it of course)
yeah I had it originally in one of them but the copyright bots got it
5:38 I like this logo but never lived in te 90s
Where's the Barney theme song!?
I try not to put things that can potentially have the videos taken down. So no Barney theme song 😞
@@The90sAreRad I definitely understand that. I thought the parent company for Barney either gave up on Barney or went under, but maybe I'm thinking of something else. I'm disappointed at the Pokemon theme song isn't on here
The video would have been taken down. I’ve tried before and that’s what happen
