@@itzkasperfemboy a shot to the head is usually always lethal. though, it could be possible that mark was alive for a while. there's always a chance to survive, (a bit of history here, sorry about that) comparing it to something like abraham lincoln's murder. he was shot once in the head, same as mark, and didn't die until later in the hospital. which is rare! poor mark. assuming this, perhaps he was still alive, eventually dying from it because, well y'know, nobody was there to save his ass. even if he was saved there's only a 5%-10% he'd survive the trauma in a hospital regardless. either or it's just the alternate creepily breathing and we're both looking into this a little too much LOL.

I think during the whole song, the alternate is taunting and mocking mark, but its not just crude insults, the alternate is probably pushing mark closer to shooting himself. To me, at 1:20 i see it as Mark grieving and feeling pity towards Caesar, but then the Alternative ( Caesar) slowly reverts back to Caesar mocking him that he just tricked Mark into his death, i love that little detail, FNF has such a good way at telling stories with songs.

Mark my man just got a huge Adrenaline rush by showing his true strengths but makes a mistake by shooting. Near the point where he gets a boost in power he sounds like the t h i n g is taking him over and he realizes the true reality.

after hearing Gift alot of times, I can say that Mark's Chromatics when it screams is just him saying "YOU. FUCKING. BAST. ARD."
I think during the whole song, the alternate is taunting and mocking mark, but its not just crude insults, the alternate is probably pushing mark closer to shooting himself. I can just see the alternate telling mark to pull the trigger, while actively mocking him. Alternates are fucked up when you think about it.

To me, at 1:20 i see it as Mark grieving and feeling pity towards Caesar, but then the Alternative ( Caesar) slowly reverts back to Caesar mocking him that he just tricked Mark into his death, i love that little detail, FNF has such a good way at telling stories with songs.
I like to think that mark accidentally shot himself. When we see his corpse in the video, his finger is on the trigger, because he shot himself. But I think he shot himself because he had no trigger discipline, his finger was on the trigger, ready to fire off so many shots that he never took his finger off the trigger, causing him to shoot himself in the face on accident.
