Yeah, I am also really grateful for being able to have had hair like that! For me, there was a lot around doing this - much more than only a desire for change. Amongst this was also putting myself outside of the idea/ desire of being attractive. I’ve noticed now that I don’t feel like I have to be beautiful so much, or cling to the idea that I am being perceived as beautiful. That has made me a lot more free in my expression! I am very grateful for experiencing that, so also thank you for your comment, giving me the opportunity to reflect on that :) Besides, everything is temporary and it wil grow back haha ;)
@@movaboreeaske My only advice for the future would be for you to understand that your only beauty that cannot and will not be taken from you one day is your soul. Everything else, cherish it while it lasts. God bless!

Als je jong bent is het lastig, maar heb je ieg je jeugdige schoonheid nog. Ik heb geen jong koppie meer, ik ben doodsbang! Wat blijft er over? Ik onderscheid me met mijn haar. Hee Saskia! ik zie je berichtje nu pas. wat een heftig proces kan dat zijn he.. we kunnen houvast halen voor onze identiteit aan het fysieke uiterlijk, maar alles is toch altijd in beweging en ik zie steeds meer in hoe prachtig het is om nieuwe dingen te kunnen ervaren. en er is zo veel mogelijk! :) daarnaast zit er volgens mij ook zo veel schoonheid in het ouder en wijzer worden. in deze maatschappij ondergewaardeerd, maar ik hoop dat je dat ook kunt omarmen
You have such a good-looking face and you are so beautiful that you look great even with almost no hair. Somehow your wonderful long hair is a big loss, however ... it was so very beautiful, too and suited you so very much :) :)

I'm glad to hear that you look forward to experiencing all the phases during the growing out process. You could create a journey video where you could tell the world how you feel. Where you from though? Are you glad you followed through in doing this or do you miss your hair or both? Why did you want to keep it?

I might share more about the journey of interesting things come up :) So far I have definitely not regretted the decision as this change has allowed me to grow so much more in my process of not trying to live through others’ expectations. Though I can still look back and miss aspects of it, that was another version of me and I feel separate from it now. I believe there is much spiritual power in hair and see this cut off braid as a holder of many emotions and energies from the past, in a way. I understand many people could be made happy with this hair but for me it’s something much to personal to be lived through somewhere in the world by someone I don’t know. I might be able to distance myself more from it later, give it to someone close to me or use it in a ritualistic sense.
Waste and heavy and unnecessary long hairs have ridden by you well done, I appreciate your decision and teast, long hair systems are uncomfortable for women, I believe that long hair systems are blind believes, short hair is lighter and tidy and cleaner and beautiful and easier to maintain, I suggest you that don't keep long hair again, hair cut also an art, thanks you so much

My wife did the same thing and has sported a short buzz cut for year. Bald/buzzed women are every much as beautiful
