@@DryerDaysArTsTuDiO Your piece is the prettiest I've ever seen!!! I have a few types of resin and wish I had seen how beautiful resin painting and embellishment before I bought hundreds of dollars for paint pouring!!! I know that I can use some of my supplies for doing the resin work but I have to use up a bunch of my supplies before I can go out and buy more items. So far the Acrylic paint pouring has been pretty stressful for me and don't get anything that I love .... Really ever!!! I have one or 2 that I would like to resin so I'm watching a lot of youtube videos before I get the nerve. I'll definitely do it on one I don't like too much first!!!¡!!. You keep on.. I know that will sell for sure!!! I can see it on an old fashioned make-up table with perhaps a hairbrush and comb with some of the same decoration!!!! ❤️
Oh what a beautiful outcome. Pink can sometimes be a little tricky, as you saw mine 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely love this one, I love pink white and gold together, so regal
Hi can you tell me what gold paint did you use to paint the rim of the mold and where you have ordered it please, I live in South Africa very behind on paint
While is drying do we have to cover it with something? So that nothing sits on it such as dust or fluffs in the air can u help please with this question
You can do that, yes. Most times I will prop a piece of carboard just over top of the piece, or drape a piece of plastic over it. I use cups of something else high than the piece to prop just hovering over the piece.
So I’m new an want to start doing resin. Once I’m ready to do more then one color, do I mix the gardener an resin together then pour it into different cups and then add the powder or would I have to make multiple cups of the Hardner and epoxy? If that makes sense lol
What kind of resin would you recommend other than tumbler epoxy , the store its closed right now due to backed up orders, what do you think about resin art?
It is so gorgeous! I am interested in buying it...how much is it? I don't see it on your website yet. Also, I collect some Marie Antoinette things so this is perfect! XOXO
If your resin piece is cured, do you sand it before adding another layer? I know you can layer when tacky but I'm getting confused watching all these different videos as some artists sand, some don't. Do you San when no longer tacky?
I don't. The only reason I would is if a hair or something got on the surface and I wanted to buff it out before I put on another layer. I hope that helps!!
The enddddd result wowwwwwwww 🤩✨✨✨✨
Thank you 😊

Beautiful!! Do you have a link for the new resin you used?
Thank you, Lee! I just added it to the description and here is the direct link tumblerpoxy.com/
Hi there. Beautiful piece😍 please can i ask the name of the gold you used for the edge. I had a look in your store but did not find it. Thanks
Hi Lisa! It is a gold gilding paint, I have listed it in the videos description
Thank you 😊
Really beautiful. What kind of gold paint/pigment did you first paint the inside edges of that mold with?
It is guilding paint, I have it listed in the videos description. Thanks, Ruth!
Thank you so much for your answer. I ordered the mold!!!

-Resin: I used Total Boat Resin!! Total Boat Code for 15% off your first order: dryerday1

@@DryerDaysArTsTuDiO Thank you for letting me know🙋♀️
@@DryerDaysArTsTuDiO Would you say which one exactly, and the type of hardener slow, medium, or fast? Is it the Total Boat TableTop Epoxy Resin?
Just the table top or their ArtResin is good too for a project like this

I e never seen anybody paint the mold prior to adding the resin. Does it stick to the resin when you unmold?
Yes
Do you sell a baby pink/ soft pink pigment?
It's a combination of the Matte White and Rose Gold Pigments from my store ❤
where do you get the mold
I sell it in my store www.dryerdaysartstudio.com/shop/p/large-agate-slice-tray-mold
Beautiful! I've never thought of painting the edges of the mold with gold first! Does the paint completely transfer to the piece?
Yes it does!
What kind of gold paint did you use to paint the edges with, I love that !
Would love to know to
When you don’t fill the mold, what do you do with the lip on the edge?
I sand it gently to make it smooth, being careful not to scuff the surface
Need ur help if u could 🙏🏻
