Excellent! One suggestion: use fat free milk for leaf washing to eliminate any sour smell. Spraying fat free milk is how we keep our indoor plants from being attacked by powdery mildew, and help them quickly repel the mildew, if infected.

А что бы орхидея быстрей зацвела, надо взять рис, залить теплой водой на 30 минут. И потом этой водой полить, орхидея выпустит несколько ростков с цветами. Проверено.

Not Bad! However, One thing I highly recommend is to Use A New Pot or Wash the old one with dish soap when repotting! Never use the old one without disinfecting first. Bacteria could be building up and since you just cut away some roots, it could easily transfer to the plant. Also, my mom uses Onion Water. Garlic and Onions must be high in potassium/Calcium/Magnesium which Orchids Love!

Could you describe the onion water? Did she follow the same steps as the video did with garlic water? Curious!
Will onion powder or store bought minced garlic work? I hope so.
Also, watering requirements depends on YOUR Environment. It’s different for everyone (weather, humidity & Moss vs. Wood chips). If in moss, it will stay wet a lot longer than chips.
I tell customers to use the finger test with moss. If you feel moisture, don’t water it! Phals like to dry out in between watering.
Overwatered phals will get root rot & eventually die.
In Florida, my phals get watered every two weeks or so if in moss.
Just use your finger to test for moisture.

В природе ,когда идёт дождь на листья подают капли дождя,орхидеи от этого не погибают,а продолжают прекрасно рости и цвести..
Это дикие орхидеи, а до уже культевированные.
В природе орхидеи ровно в горшках не растут, а под наклоном или вообще вверх ногами, так сказать, по этому вода сама стекает и не застаивается в точке роста.
В природе банально их обдувает ветер, что не позволяет воде застаиваться в пазухах. На окнах вы не можете обеспечить такую вентиляцию воздушных потоков.
Неуместно сравнивать содержание в природе и на наших окнах 🤦♀️

They have not bloomed for a l-o-n-g time!🙄
I found mine almost dead & thought...I'm up for the challenge. They've never bloomed! I've repotted them, fed them, dried them out, water them occasionally, talk to them sometimes, ignore them most of the time. revived them...still no blooms. I do enjoy the plants though & how pretty they've become after literally almost dying. Sometimes gratification & simple pleasures can be different for everyone I guess, lol.

I always have orchids on my window sill. I have fourteen of them at present since 2015. They flower all year round & more than ten buds on each plant. I harvest rain water which I use to water them, nothing else added.

If you occasionally water your orchid with very weak tea, no milk, it will encourage it to flower

🌸 I’ve kept mine for years, my grandmother had loads around & they bloom 3-4 times a year if the plant is mature
Younger ones can bloom once or twice. Don’t keep them in moss but use coconut husks or just leave in glass vase with chips but spray frequently if it’s dry hot room. I keep them on window sills and my friends admire the different colours thinking I keep buying them but I don’t. I collect them and keep them
My grandmother used to put glass of milk on her rose base, I didn’t know reason behind it. I’ll try that with the orchids ☺️

My mom had orchids outside in very hot sun. She does nothing to them but water them along with everything else, and they just keep growing and multiplying. Now they’re in a couple of huge pots, and they just keep rockin on.

Почему же вы оставили торфяной горшочек, да еще и в пластиковом каркасе, который всеми орхоманами рекомендуется удалять? Совершенно необъяснимо.

I just submerge the whole thing in water. Healthy all the way and flowers no problem. But needs sunshine all the times though.

I notice you used the old bark when you repotted the orchid. Do you also use distilled water and how often do you water? What kind of fertilizer do you use?
If you have hard water in your area distilled water would be better or collected rainwater. You can buy time release orchid food or orchid fertilizer.
