This city is not just beautiful by day but it really comes to life at night. Full of culture, great music, and I will bet great food too. Really enjoyed this video. Excellent job
It used to be a LOT better when I was a kid. That part of old Quebec had about 10 bars on the second floors of those buildings. One for each type of music. A blues bar, a heavy metal bar, a couple of live acts with folk music, etc... Most of the side streets ALSO had some pretty decent nightclubs in them too. Now it's ALL tourist traps and really expensive places to eat. I go to Grande Allée to go out, or down to St-Joseph Street or in old Limoilou near 1st to 3rd Avenue. And if I want to eat out, I take a 15-20 minute ride to Ste-Foy, where it's cheaper and you get more choices.
@@lvfreeAdventures Yes. But it's ONLY for tourists now. Before, it used to be lived in and filled with locals too. It just makes me sad, in a childhood memory kind of vibe. It just feels more like Disneyland than a part of my city now...
Beautiful place.
