I love the original so much that I was skeptical. How can anyone improve a Deftones song.
But, the more I listen to this the more I appreciate it on its own.
Matthew, your vocals are stellar.
I love Chino to the moon but your vocals are so hauntingly delicious. That low you hit very briefly at :37 resonates. I love the multiple octave changes there.
And the sometimes creepy electronic sounds from David which accompanying the piano are perfect.
Can’t wait for more new music.
