This week I thought I'd share with you guys a super easy guide on how to use and create simple animations using the awesome total launcher. A very unique android launcher with a ton of customisation options. Is this the launcher that will finally beat Nova?

Never used this launcher, but was in my wishlist because of the developer.
But this is a gem of an app
The gestures aren't that great, i would argue nova launcher has better gestures and having separate gestures for portrait and landscape mode is pointless. If your phone has the double tap screen on/off baked into it, double tap screen off. will be rendered useless.

Since I bought this launcher I only used total launcher. It is extremely customizable. The best thing on this launcher is gestures. Extremely useful
I just got the pro key. Apparently, you need it for weather updates now.

Man I am having a trouble with the launcher. I am using gesture navigation and everytime I use the home gesture my default launcher shows up and after a sec total launcher comes back .
Can you say how to fix this
If you have already made total your default launcher. Then Try doing a "force stop" on it and then reopening it. Hopefully restarting the process will fix this issue

Before I found out your video, I have install Total Launcher. And I have fun customizing my screen. Thou I do it blindly with lots of eksperiments and trials and error. This launcher reminds me the other launcher (that now is discontinued) and it's definitely worth to play with it.
dude some people spend MONTHS creating and designing every asset for their theme, it goes to show how customizable this launcher really is, ive made a few so far that have taken me up to a months designing assets etc in photoshop

I'm having trouble resizing icons. Such a simple thing is easily done in other launchers.

Old comment but hopefully you reply...which icon pack do you recommend that'll change all icons? The one I use currently (Smart Launcher 6 and Icon Pack Studio) changes all icons apart from those in the side bar

Begining at 4:18, specifically at 5:27 you said you can remove the background to remove the ugly off-white. How? All i can do is change the color, there is no transparency option and tapping background, all that does is open the color picker, that does not qualify as removing. Unless you do in fact mean you can remove it, please explain how in better detail. What am i missing here?
When you tap "Background" and the menu appears, the top option should be "Reset." Tapping that will clear out the default off-white color. Then uncheck "Show shadow." The background of the window will now be fully transparent. If it's too transparent, you can select a color (even black or white or anything in between), and adjust the transparency level with the slider to the right of the color picker. There's also a blurring option for windows in the launcher settings under "UI & Animation > Blur behind" and the setting below that lets you adjust the blur amount. Hope this helps.
@@jimmie_g Ah thank you. I did that but it must not have saved so i got confused. Still, talking about the timestamps i referenced, it's very difficult to follow how to add a slide out app drawer, even moreso when you want to have full transparency for the image and the background so TL home screen widgets behave similar to the app, Popup Widget. Which is a nice app on its own but too limited to be a viable option when the same can be done with TL. Wish the video demonstrated it a bit more slowly with more emphasis on details. I successfully did it, then i tried a second, third time and couldn't get rid of the stupid image icon of the actual window which left a windows 95 style border for a window icon as opposed to just being transparent without an icon. Really strange.

Please do a video using the Total Launcher and the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and show how to have different layouts on the inner and outer screens!
I have watched the transition video so many times at half speed and wrote down every mouse click and text entry but still cant get the pasted image to disappear like it does in the video. would someone please make a video with audio, or a step by step instructions. I love this launcher but frustrated with trying to get this to work. Thanks.

PLEASE stop talking like that. Its hard to watch the entire video (which is useful!) in one sitting. :o) Now, a small addition that might be helpful: Many themes do not allow access to the Total Launcher menu with a long press on the home screen - for those, swipe down with three fingers on the home screen to access the very important launcher options.
