Normally if is not fully in the market within 3 to 4 years, is because they don't have investors to pay massive production.
Convincing companies or private individuals to invest on any product is difficult, even if is a amazing concept.
I need this for my two cats while I’m away. The collar tag will be lost as their break away collars come off every other month. But if I could monitor the door via simpli safe app and remotely let them inside at night that would be amazing!

Looks like you have thought of lots of good features. Only comment is as a homeowner I would not like the logo on the door face like it is. Put it on top where controls are located. Look around your home you don't see many logos.

Pawport is a scam. They’ve been advertising since 2020 using the same pictures and videos over and over. They took everyone’s money and have no plans to deliver any product.
This company is still marketing the concept of this pet door, but hasen't released anything in over two years. Their website seems to be down as well. This seems to fall into the "scam" category so far. Here's hoping they prove me wrong.

It does appear that way, but he did make a slight right towards that outdoor couch. I know this as it is my dog, Spider, and I was there greeting him but didn't want to be in the video. :)

This is like the flying car new. Always claiming to be coming out soon, never arriving. Waste of time even watching video for something you can't buy.
They’ve been perpetuating this scam for years now and people continue to fall for it and give them money. This “company” needs to be looked into by the feds for fraud.
This is not going to work for pets without collars while at home. A collar is a hazard for our pets because they are running into scrub and bush and could be caught and strangled. We want one operated wih RFID microchip detection for the pets' safety.

This would be a joke for any big puppies- my horse...er, pup, wouldn’t have patience for it to open. He’d have those doors ripped right off in no time.🤣
But it’d be fine for older or as inactive dogs.
