Last week at church my pastor was talking about offence and how it affects our relationship with God! Felt like this came at the perfect time. I’m wholeheartedly working on not taking things personally even when someone even means to hurt me. I don’t need to make someone else’s perception of me my reality if it’s not true.

I completely understand Zandy when she talks about her offense that derives from lack of being understood, either in conversation with someone who isn't listening feeling very unsafe or a withdrawal being defined as a descriptor of the person.
