Michael was about 14yrs then.
Joel started teaching him to play guitar when Michael took up lessons when he was 6yrs.
Joel has known him since that age....He's a local boy in Joel's home town Tauranga , where
the "One Love " Concert is held in January , during our Summer every year .
The drums sound so killer in this. But the Fender playing the blues always gives me life! This was awesome
One of the best live bands worldwide at this time...they bring genuine joy in their music...don't miss them!

That's his student the lead vocal /lead guitarist invited his student onstage to play at one love concert Aotearoa New Zealand

LAB are touring in the states in Hawai;i in March and California in May. Michael was Joel's student when Joel taught music at what you would call Junior high.
