Al Hamdulillah Yes brother Aq......at around the 3:20 point of this video you’ll notice the sheikh saying that all ALLFOUR are from the school of Ikwaani Muslimeen.....and as you probably know,the Ghazzali you referred to lived and died long before this misguided sect evolved as a distinct entity,may Allah guide them.

I watched a recording/video of Shaykh Al Albani (Rahimahullah) on Abu Haamid Ghazali and the Egyptian Ghazali. As for Abu Haamid Ghazali he was not upon the methodology of the Salaf however he was taking small steps towards it according to Shaykh Al Albani (Rahimahullah). And as for the Egyptian Ghazali then the Shaykh says He has nothing to do with the Qur'an and Sunnah. Just search on youtube. BarakAllahu Feekum.
I am not sure but Abu Hamid al-Ghazali regretted and repented later in his life. I think I read it from a salafi book I cannot recall. Allaah knows Best

He did although make tawbah and his beard was drenched due to the amount of tears he had. He should definitely be warned against for his innovations he fell into of ‘ilm Kalaam. He was sincere in his repentance similar to fakhrudieen ar razi, etc, رحمهم الله. They WERE’NT upon the manhaj of the salaf although they recanted they’re innovation . We won't tolerate any mistakes in akhidah or salafi methodology . but mistakes without knowing those isn't same those r doing with disires and lies.
