I can’t even remember the last time I cried but this 4 minute clip made me cry a river. There’s just something about a dog’s love and loyalty that hits a sweet spot in me
He died dreaming about his best friend/master! This movie is beyond words, so is a (wolf turned) dog's evolutionary love towards us! Through the passage of time over millions of years they have evolved with humans and perhaps this bond we share is unparalleled to any other animal human relationship. Thank you for making this masterpiece! My son was hell bent on having a puppy after watching this movie! Can't control my tears every time I watch this!
@@ngamgangte8478 I know that your comment is well meant but, God help me, if they don't go to Heaven I dont want to go either. I'm an only child and and an only grandchild. My father told me the story of a ‘loyal dog’ that waited for its deceased master at a train station for 10 years, when I was a young boy ~ 36 yrs ago ( in 1985). My father did not know the name of the dog. I always remembered the story because it touched a part of my heart which only such a beautiful & sad story could. I found this movie by accident recently and watched it with my father yesterday (2021). My father loved it. It was a truly great bonding experience with my pop. To think, a dog, whose owner died almost a century ago, half a world away, could have such an emotional impact on my life and memories ... it’s unbelievable. It’s simply incredible. Love you Hachiko. You and your extreme loyalty is something, we humans, could and should learn from. 🙏🏼
I think I could have gotten through it a tad bit better had I not found out it was true. I’m never watching it ever again. How many times have you watched the movie in it’s entirety cause once was enough for me?????

Of all the tear jerker movies , Hachi tops the list . The first time , I watched it , I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed until my body hurt. My mother in Law , and husband were the same . So sad . So heartbreaking . It will tear your heart out.
