At the start of this fall, when the water started cooling down, the bite was really tough. I had no confidence bass fishing in cold water conditions, but this year I decided to grind it out. Caught my PB on a 1.5" mepps black fury spinner (straight + jerking retrieve) while targeting panfish because the bass won't bite. It was 5.2 pounds. So y'all who don't have confidence fishing cold water, try it. I recommend a lipless crankbait, but after catching my PB on a tiny spinner, I guess a spinner works too 😂

I live in Michigan and fishing has been tough lately, but look for deep grass lines (10-15ft) and and throw a tube or a compact jig and you’ll find them because all those lakes your fishing are the same lakes i fish so thats how i know this.

@@peterstevens2660 I'm down in south east mi MI sometimes it can be good if you have the right equipment like for the st clair river but all the ponds and small lakes around me are either private or incredibly busy.
Michigan fishing has been so tough this year, I just caught a 5 pound smallie today by just using a kvd 2.5 crankbait by a 7ft deep weedline

Roland Martin was fishing for steelhead not too long ago with him!!!! the fall chinook are pretty big in Oregon!!! 20+ lbs! It would be good for you guys to mix it up!

Large mouth bass or more common towards the bottom of Michigan. Smallmouth spawn more in the top of Michigan. And they both commonly spawn in the mid-region of Michigan

I love fishing, but here in TN that’s an unspoken rule of exactly what not to do. (Probably will get peppered until I’m out of shells). Even on a moral level go fish somewhere else on the lake. We duck hunters get up early spend a lot of time putting out decoys getting everything just right. It’s the same with fishing, all I’m saying is have a little courtesy
