What a fucking redemption arc for Zeus. His performance from last year to this year is unmatched. And seeing Faker get his 4th World Championship brings so my joy to me. That smile right at the end when they won the last team fight to ending the game was so deserved. Their performance throughout the tournament was miles ahead of last year and seeing Faker bring out his Akali and win the final game with it was legendary. The 3 game stomp in the finals too, wow. 100% deserved, undisputed world champs. Well done boys!
Zeus was fine last year. He was hard carry in finals except they refused to ban Aatrox when it was busted and game 5 coach picked gwen. (It’s a lot diff now after nerfs / buffs ) but last year it failed and Zeus got flavk not the coach
@@jeevang7853 sure Zeus Keria and Guma were arguably the best top and botlane entire tournament with Oner going relatively hot/cold. But faker has always been the face of T1 and League in general and to keep performing the way he has at the age of 27(old by eSports standards) with all the pressure he faces(in game and away from it) is nothing short of remarkable.
This kinda shows T1 vs JDG was the "true" finals. The games were WAY closer. But still, T1 won against all LPL teams which is really impressive and they only dropped one game vs JDG. This Roster deserves the trophy, they all played so well, nobody was even playing mediocore, everyone had their big plays this worlds. But for me, Zeus is definitely the most impressive. Alot of people put Bin, 369 and TheShy over him, but he was just better than everyone of them. And in the finals he popped off, what an insane played, well deserved MVP!
Zeus, Oner, and Keria played incredibly all 3 games (Zeus playing especially out of his mind). Faker and Guma were solid as well. So happy to see T1 finally take it all the way!
I honestly feel like T1 v. JDG was the “finals.” Faker and Guma played out of their minds in that series for sure. Faker literally willed T1 into the finals there. The Guma 1v2 outplay against Ruler. Truly Guma “crushed” Ruler as he said he would in the teaser.
Yeah they are a great team. Why I don't want people to separate them like Dk in 2020-202did . Dk was a finalist team that turned into maybe qualifying to worlds.

Honestly feel like this is easily the strongest t1 has ever been just cause they are up against lpl at their strongest yet still dominated so much, not like in 2015 when they barely had any actual competition. Not only that, all lanes and role was always winning on their own end. They were the best on their own roles at this tournament. Every player in T1 is considered as a star player.
What I love most about the recent worlds: 2022: DRX really defined, "don't ever say it's over if I'm breathing," as they beat the teams everyone thought they'd lose to and shocked the world. 2023: T1 made every LPL team, from Quarters, Semis, and Finals, "crumble one by one." I am new to the LOL saw when DRX won last year's Worlds. Was always rooting for T1 and hoped they did not make a roster change. With all the ups and downs and Fakers injury it was a rocky start. But glad the boys were able to win this one. Congratulations T1!!!

For the tournament MVP is Keria. I think his flexibility made T1 really strong on red side. And I mean for the tournament, in this match Zeus was MVP hands down

Keria has been the best support for ages, Faker isn't the best mechanical mid but his reign over the whole rift is undoubtedly supreme over all others. It's not just top gap where Zeus absolutely rekt'd TheShy, the insolence of playing 1st Senna and 1st Bard on Worlds, and Faker's cherry on top dominance on his Akali; this was an overall team gap and draft gap due to how limited they could play bot lane. JDG vs T1 was the real finals.
It's been a long time, 7 years waiting for another cup for this amazing team, for Faker to hold and rise that big cup for another time. What a series for T1. Destroying every team in their path. Faker deserves this, it's long overdue.

Total Team Effort by T1 to bring it home. IMO, T1 MVPs each series against the LPL are: Against WBG = Zeus Against JDG = Faker and Oner Against LNG = Keria Against BLG = Gumayusi

faker got the kill, and that activated zeus' duskblade which made him immune to damage and let him get out - crazy plays

You have to give WBG credit. They still tried even in the face of impossible odds.
I won't deny that they tried, they had me nervous in the first ten minutes of every match but it feels like just a couple t1 plays and they started panicking. Good on wbg for making it to finals when no one thought they could.
