The 60 Buick Invicta was an iconic car not only for it's styling but it's performance,durability, & reliability. The Buick people did a 10,000 mile in 5,000 minutes endurance test on a 60 Invicta on the Daytona Speedway in 60.This was done with a STOCK nailhead engine. The average speed was 120 MPH & the only stops were for tire & driver changes & the refueling was done on the roll like how they refuel Jets in the air!! The car completed the test in under 5,000 minutes & could have lasted much longer. Now that's one hell of an endurance test!! Buicks were great cars & the 60 Invicta proved it!!!

Did you ever think about , why you don't you ever see e-types (the most beautiful car ever designed) on these shows of beautiful cars? (Foose one doesn't count, he turned an e type into a 50s american car = ruined it)
I think its because every car under the sun has a potential for massive design improvements , but the e type. Almost absolute perfection!

Shut up dude, it still has the face, the emblems, the lines, even the factory 401. It would have been so much easier to throw an LS in it and call it good, but this car was built by someone who was passionate about these cars and wanted to see one in their own vision. The buick engineers back in the day would have marveled over this car. Your shitty opinion just discredits all of the hard work that went into this build. These cars are so underrated and finally somebody has brought some light to them, probably upped the value of yours a bit if you have one. This car was done with pure taste, leaving the highlights as they were when the car rolled off the assembly line. You should be grateful someone way more motivated than you loved these cars enough to build it and win an award.
