- This is Nancy Black is a 42 years old mother of nine living in rural Jamaica, she is living in a one bedroom dwelling in with her nine children, with a less than ideal bathroom and kitchen with no running water or the necessities for the children , the children have been doing online classes since they don’t have any devise or internet connections, Nancy loves her children dearly but can’t give them the help that they so desperately needs. Nancy burns Coral for a living and does days job cleaning people floor and windows sometimes, but she said since the pandemic she has not gonna any work because people are skeptic about who comes and goes in the house, Nancy said the last time she burned 60 bags of coals/Corals they were stolen and she said since that she has been struggling as the Coral was her only source of income since she is a single mother of nine children.
Nancy is seeking assistance with food, clothing, shoes, tablets, doors and for another room to be added on to her one bedroom so that the children can have their own space.
Her story was very emotional I actually cried the whole way through.

God bless this mother. She is not giving up and even though she never went to school, she speaks very well. She loves her children and is determined to keep her children and try her best to sustain them. I reside in NY and I am crying right now as I feel so bad for this mother and her children. I have a lot of stuff that I could give to her such as clothing, shoes or even pack a barrel for the family with food stuff as well.
Her kids are also very smart as well and if they get he help that they deserve, they could excel as productive citizens of Jamaica. It is so sad to see that this constituency has an MP and counselor and they are not doing anything to improve this family's quality of life.
Mother, once again I must commend you for the strength that you possess. You mentioned that you will never give away any of your children and it touches me because my grandmother gave away my mother and other children and they were abused in all ways, denied an education and worked as slaves.

Once she treats them good love my mom was poor we suffer a lot 6 of us and then my dad went america and send loads of money. And she pick up a habit and we suffer greatly by her through gambling and we suffer severe abuse from her and her friends we survive with mental conditions we cope a lot as adult and we kept her sercrets for years. She kept us from school and i was one of the brightess african lady in my school. Life was tough cuz of her now we oldet and try to build our lives ppl watch us like bad kids but we kept her secrets of our torcher as children. We dont hate but we keep away.

She should answer for being irresponsible and so should the fathers of those children. She did not have a normal life, she has been dealt a bad hand from the day she was born. Psychologically she's messed up hence the reason she gave birth to a disable child. Those children need immediate assistance. There's no way they should be living like that and they're not in this world by themselves. The shame is on the entire community.

Our duty as women especially is to show an ethic of caring concern for her and her very intelligent children so that this situation will not repeat itself in their family. I wish her well. This is heart warming, yet sad. Some of these things will.be expensive to run so one has to be careful in choosing items. I would love to help but no transport and living in a rural area .
So where are the fathers for the children. There is child support law in Jamaica now.

@@janesemurray2543 well you know she said she didn't go to school so she probably don't have much education. And the wicked men them come and trick her and breed her. Remember she didn't have much guidance growing up. And she's a beautiful young lady so the men will see her I want a piece but don't think of the consequence. And because she need help with her children she fought for the trick. Anyway she love her children she just need to do something where she can help herself and her children. I like the children. Especially the special need one.
