#eurorack #modular #performance #makenoise #0ctrl #0coast #strega #sq1 I am really proud of this one! My most complex improvisation so far. Keep Exploring!
This is so good, best performance and music I've come across so far with the Make Noise Easel! Not often you see ABA form used in electronic music. :) Do you think it's possible to improvise from scratch (nothing pre-prepared) with this setup? Can the 0-Ctrl be pitch quantised to make it easier to create melodies on the fly?
Thank you for your comment! I am glad that you enjoyed my music. I improvise most of my performances from scratch first and during exploration I come up with a vague form of the final performance. Then I record it but oftentimes some surprising things happen (for example that low drone starting at 6:04 was an accident but I decided to roll with it). One could perform entirely from scratch but it would require a tremendous amount of skill and knowledge of the easel's interface. Unfortunately 0-ctrl pitches cannot be quantised internally but you could tune the pitches beforehand to a particular scale :)
@@mateuszgrabowski3686 Thanks for your very clear and detailed response Mateus. Sounds like a very good workflow. It's a pity that 0-ctrl notes can't be changed during a performance because if you perform more than 1 track you're stuck with the same notes unless you fine tune by ear live. Can you use the SQ-1 to change the notes?
Very nice sounds here !
Great job on the transitions between the different parts!
I love when the YT algorithm makes its job properly.
Great find.
Loving this. Similar to the kinds of things I've been playing around with.
I like this a lot!
Very nice!
very cool stuff! will be adding sq to my easel!
highly recommend it!

@@Pharmacymusic1 Yes the SQ-1 is quantised and you can change notes on the fly. It is a very neat sequencer i highly recommend it.
