As long as i am saved and be with the presence of God. That is all that matters to me. If my reward is the lowest kind of reward as long as i will be in heaven and can worship the Lord and have the inner peace of the Spirit, that is enough for me.

That's sad. Wouldn't you want to go out & win souls so no one perishes, yes the rewards are great in heaven but imagine how you would feel going out, spreading the word doing God's work. I know i do it lifts my soul that I'm out there winning souls for jesus 🙏 i would encourage you the next time the holy spirit wants you to talk to a person be obedient to god and do it yes you might not get break through but you have planted a seed and your heavenly father sees that.
@@sandyblake7 Even If sharing the Gospel and doing His work had no extra reward, it would still be worth it in my mind.

Jesus is our reward
Jesus is a gift to believers not a reward , you earn a reward you can't earn a gift . If we all had to earn heaven , we would all fail because we are sinners ,but Jesus gave us salvation as a gift for us sinners , not a reward

we all do. we dont get into heaven by our goodness or good deeds but by grace, and by Jesus having died for us. we will to the day we leave earth, be sinners.

Isn't the best reward to be with Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven?
of course but what God has planned for us as a whole we could not imagine
heaven is temporary in it's current state too, so that's not to be ignored nor the lords gifts out of respects ,
not only that but the new earth to add with no Satan / demons
in Gods presence as in the early days of creation where water flows,
trees flourish and bear fruit, people/animals don't kill each other , or any death period
to Gods glory his will be done.

That's not a reward , it's a gift . A reward you have to earn, if salvation and being with Jesus was a reward we would all fail because we are all sinners and deserve punishment, But Jesus out of his goodness, as a gift , gives us the salvation we dont deserve,to be with him and the father for eternity , not because we are good, but because God is good.. So no, being with Jesus is not a reward , it's a gift we don't deserve for believers.

Loved the video. I do think it’s a bit tricky when I think about rewards personally for me. It’s definitely one of those “people’s convictions speak differently to one another” but I really appreciate the video and I will see you on the other side
Just do things because of the second greatest commandment, love your neighbor as yourself, so treat everybody like that , and do good for them because Jesus did that for you.. the rewards are only a bonus and never do good things for people with the expectation of the rewards .. that's the whole point . But of course it's worth knowing that there will be rewards but that isnt the reason why we do things for others

I don't know why people downplay the rewards. Jesus obviously wanted to let us know about them to motivate us. They are eternal, and give Him glory too. The funny thing is, I've sat through sermons that downplay them so much, it smacks of pride. If God wants to give them to us, we should be glad, not say we don't want them or need them.

While being in heaven is the best reward one can ask for, having the attitude that it doesn’t matter if we get any significant rewards or not is very mediocre IMO
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Months ago I got baptized
I prayed to God said Jesus Christ is my salvation he died on the cross for me
I cant think of anything else to pray about
I have disabilities short term memory loss
Hearing loss
And a lot more
My question is it being disabled good or bad in eye of God I can't work. I mostly watch movies and smoke which is bad I think I have confessed my sins there not exactly the worse.
