My wife and I have a lot of experience at 3 forks. The day they ran this the water was up and the hyacinths had been pushed back to the flow. In the last year or so it has been very hard to navigate as the water seems to be low quite a bit. Just to let you know the canal stays pretty blocked up with hyacinths most of the summer. Things you need to think about are how heavy is your boat if you cannot trim up and run in 8 inches of water beware. To be honest we have gone through 5 props in the last 18 months and trust me we idle and trim up. Yes, it is a Great place to fish and if you have a boat that you can get down there with be sure and make the trip. I will tell you conditions are always changing. Even in lakes 4 5 6 there will be floating logs and debris especially after strong winds and storms. I do meet people out there from time to time and if we can help them out to learn it we will. All I can say is use caution it is not as easy as they made it look due to the higher water. If we get a lot of rain in June it definitely does make a difference, This place is Beautiful and a good place to fish as an alternative to fish. One thing is there are plenty of good places on the north end to fish so if you try and make the south and it doesn't work out, Do not discouraged. The North end has a lot to offer also. Good fishing and tight lines my fishing friends
Hey John, really appreciate the advice and feedback from you. I know it took some time so I think you deserve a prize pack. Send me an email to barry@hookedonheadwaters.com with your contact info and we can meet up somewhere to get it to you.. Thanks Again.
cool video, I rode my scooter from 192 all the way down to the boat ramp through the three forks marsh. Today im going to shoot another video with my kids in a trailer going though the park. They love the vibes
Thanks guys for the great tour.. I think we need to put some hazard Signs up in a few places. And some flag poles here and there at the proper trails and cut thru's.. Awesome looking fishery.
If we can get some help we can can clear out the palms that are underwater so you can run the main canal most of the way without issue. For sure some markers for the rock pile would be good and maybe a pole at the east to west canal that goes from lake one to lake 2.
@@BeyondHeadwaters hey gang my friend and i live down here in Jensen and i can take off anytime to help. Only problem is my friend has the boat. He can go but has to adjust his schedule to be there. So if you could plan a week to 10 days out we will definitely come help. 💪💪👍🇺🇸🇺🇸.. I will bring some marker signs on pvc pipes for the rock wall hazard.. also for correct trail location on that one trail you mentioned not the get mixed up. Dont want to be running down that one on the pad and run out of water. 🤕. 😄 Expensive choice. Lol.. so yes guys we will help. Just give us time to fit it in . Thank you
Thanks guys for the tour. I really appreciate it. One suggestion in editing would be to put a compass heading graphic say in the upper left, N-E-W-S of where the camera is pointing.
Really liked the video, Ive been back in there one time , it was fun and an adventure just to get there. I learned some new routes on this video, big thanks !
Late post, but freaking Excellent drive-thru of 3 Forks, I remember every bit of it while I was following buddies.....thank God for the storm shelter North of the rock pile, I was dry a few other buddies not so much. Just wanted to say ....great on the water drive thru
I have been coming down to Stick from Georgia (try for at least once/year), but first I have heard of this place. Looks amazing!! Would like to give it a try with my friend’s 17-foot aluminum. A tad to daunting for my 21-foot Triton. Thanks for putting in the work of putting this together!!
Great video, i live in Vero Beach and have fished the west side as shown in your other video. I have a 14’ Alweld jon boat and enjoy fishing the out of the way places. But these lower lakes would be a bit much for a very old man. I can do pretty well in the small lesser known lakes.
Great to revisit 3 Forks. Fished the Weekend Warriors tournament last year, fished 4 and 5, lucky to catch 5 fish. With all the stumps, and the 45 minutes at idle speed, down the main canal, thru the rock pile, then finding the cut trail into lakes 4,5, 6, filled with hyacinths, not worth the risk reward of time. But all said, the beauty and wildlife, and very little pressure, is worth the trip, just not in a tournament, unless in a mud boat. Next video, Garcia, the east west canal from ramp, when the 512 is blocked by floating islands. Thank you, Hollywood Dave
Hey Dave!! With a spotter you can get through it a bit faster now to get to the back lakes. . We will be doing Garcia and as of the last 3 times we have been out there the north end of the canal that runs parallel with 512 is open with no blocks.
Awesome video thank you!! One question. As a motorized kayaker, what are the rules and regulations about parking in unmarked road sides? I see quit a few areas where you can literally park and but your kayak in but its not labeled as parking, its road side. Example, at the north east side of #1 there is some parking areas on grass. Are we able to park there and launch our kayaks and leave our vehicles for a few hours? Thank you!! Appreciate the efforts into all the information provided.
The only place to get Baitfuel right now is either direct through American Baitworks website where you will get a 15 percent discount if you use our headwaters15 promo code or tackle wharehouse.com but you won't get the discount there.
I used to years ago with my father in law. E put in at 1-92 and run down. Caught a LOT of specks and catfish down there along with getting ducks in season.

Hmmm I will have to look for something that will work for that. Thanks for the suggestion.
Can you just show some of these points (rock pile/where you are at)on the map as you? verbally explaining isn't working 😭

Rough getting back in there but is well worth it. Great tips
You are correct. A bit of patience needed but well worth it.

What size boat were gou guys running in this video? Looks like a Blackhawk.
Awesome video! I’d love to book a trip out there with you guys!
We love to take you out....give us a call...book early. Thanks for watching David.
Awesome work men!
Thank you for the kind words really appreciated.

Sure thing. We will be covering other lakes as well.

Not sure how you would get there by vehicle. There is a road you can bike but no vehicles unless you know of a roas in from the south somewhere.
Lol,sunk a air boat out there on a turn, slide over a stump...lucky it was only maybe 3 ft deep and was with others!!!
I’m in! Anything to get away from headwaters … Only weekend i cant do is 21-22 May. Should be epic
Let us know Ken.
@@BeyondHeadwaters just pick a weekend as long as it’s not 21-21 May i should be good
where can I get bait fuel near Sebastian?

Slam shady works for Bass as well
They sure do. I have some marinated in baitfuel I am going to try next time out.
Bring some white pvc stakes and stake off some of the dangerous rock piles and a underwater hazards.
We had a spike on the right side with a bright colored pool noodle. We need to replace it and see if we can add another.
Do you ever mess around in Hell-n-Blazes?
I used to years ago with my father in law. E put in at 1-92 and run down. Caught a LOT of specks and catfish down there along with getting ducks in season.
Any duck hunters out there?
