Comet has NEW TRAINS at Hersheypark

We do a quick stop in on a Saturday to check out Comet's new trains & grab a bite to eat. We also did a little shopping & finally figured out how the GIANT Size Fast Track works.

Comet has always had a trim on the station turn and it’s always on, they adjust based on weather, the heavier trains run faster so they’re likely playing with the trim until they figure it out. Occasionally during cooler weather you can catch it off and the bunny hops are amazing but the trim has been present since day 1 in 1946

we have the comet at my six flags great escape in new york and they just fixed the lift plus we have a new rollercoaster called the bobcat and has 9 airtimes so much fun

We went today, Comet is my son's favorite (he's 5). First time on the new trains. Early in the day they were running 2 trains but when we came back on the way out for one more ride it was down to one train ops AND they had two rows chained off for some reason. We had a fast track today but yeah, still waited 20-30 minutes each time. Hopefully they get the kinks out as the season goes on.

I actually loved comets new trains. I do agree operations could be better my youngest gets the disability pass & even going in through the exit we still waiting like 20-30 mins last weekend

They didn’t, but the turn around trim hits harder. They really neutered this thing. Still fun though.
