My fiance and I came up with a code word when he sees me scratching. It's 'pork chop sandwiches' lol. I explained to him that being told to stop itching brings me a large feeling of shame since I've been a chronic skin picker my whole life and was called out quite a lot in an unkind way. When he randomly says 'pork chop sandwiches' I can't help but laugh. It takes my mind off of the itching, and is so much better overall for my emotion regulation.🥰
Thank you so much. my skin really is on fire. I marched in place in the shower and couldn't believe that helped! it's as if it's to the bone and I used to feel like until I saw blood I wasn't scratching hard enough.
I concur with the Dead Sea salt and oatmeal baths. I keep some blue ice packs in my freezer to cool down my skin. Similar to massaging, I’ve found gently gliding my fingertips over my skin also helps calm the itch. And if I have to scratch, placing a towel over my skin helps lessen the damage. Sometimes even scratching for a few seconds and then abruptly stopping is enough to ease the itchiness, but you have to force yourself to stop!
Your skin looks clean now~ 👍👍 my son skin is dry & itch skin. So, I bought for him expensive some cosmetic. But, I will try more natural Your way. Thank you for sharing your tip. 😁😁

The dancing is hilarious! I don’t want to go around smacking myself though. I did purchase a face roller & some tea tree oil though.
Glad you enjoyed the silly dancing! And yes, only do what you feel comfortable doing! :) I hope the face roller and tea tree oil help! ❤️🙂
It’s not the itch, it’s the soreness

What to do at mid of night when it goes worst?
Have you updated your moisturizers?
