The Fuel EXe is a great bike, but we wanted to show some newer options. Doesn't mean the EXe isn't worthy of your cash though, because it is a stonking bike
The idea of electric bikes is ridiculous. If you want a motor get a scooter. GC asked --->> "What is your opinion on e-bikes?" I gave mine! I never said DO NOT ride or buy one. I merely said they are NOT bicycles and should not be called such! They have a motor!

@@bikeradarenough already with the nonsense about “helping more people”. People who need help from motors don’t need these high end long travel trail and enduro level bikes. Got to say you're laying down some truth. Carbon... unlike aluminum, you get microscopic cracks which can lead to a major surprise break at the worst moment. @@johnh4650 It’s called Economies of Scale. Good bicycles are expensive because bike companies are small and they sell less than a tenth of the units compared to much larger motorcycle companies.
@@marklouieadame Whether you want to believe it or not, that’s the case. There’s already a lot of competition in the bike industry, so more isn’t going to help. For myself, I don’t mind the high prices. It means that when I want to buy a new bike, one will be available for me. And, it weeds out the ghetto trailer trash on the trails.
I want one, but batteries need to get a whole lot cheaper first. Also, bikes are just a rip off in general these days. It's frustrating when industry commentators talk about £5k bikes as though they are cheap. Where are the aluminium models? Personally as I'm not racing, I don't need carbon on a full suspension mtb. Where are the low end group sets - they seem to work just the same for a fraction off the $? Happy to pay a bit extra for decent damping, but what about some hard tail options or even dare i say it, fully rigid. I'm not made of gold!
The batteries are indeed very expensive! I don't we'd ever say a £5k bike is cheap, but sadly it is where the market finds itself these days. Everything is more expensive and bikes are another example. We'd love to go back to the days of £1500 Specialized Pitch's and XTR cassettes that cost less than £100, but sadly I don't think we'll see that any time soon, if ever 😟 Cars are the same; a Ford Focus 20 years ago started from under £15k, now they're barely under £29k, so nearly double
Everyone complains about how expensive everything is, and the real reason is governments, overregulation- printing money and huge corruption and waste. That is who is really to blame. The Left@@bikeradar
Aventon Ramblas $2699 Velotric Summit 1 $1799; both are entry level hardtail eMTB. I'm not expert on them but the Summit seems to have more features (class 3); Ramblas seems to have higher quality parts but only class 2 + dropper seat.
What is your opinion on e-bikes?
Making the batteries is an environmental disaster, but everyone wants to go up hill easier.
Like a 70s commercial 😂

giant trance x e+ advanced elite is worth mentioning..
We haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but would love too!
Io voto la Transition. 👍🚴
I'm very lucky I've got a few bikes & one is a full suspension eeb, different bikes different rides for me 🤪
Different horses for different courses!
The Trek EXe should have been in this video. It’s just as good as the Specialized and the Santa Cruz.
Agreed I have one and it’s the bomb 👌

Did someone force you to watch and comment on this video? Why bother if you don’t care.

It’s funny, I’ve watched several of these “best” videos, and they rarely have the same bikes in their lists.

Again, but in English please
No pinion bike 🤔
Still not many around; we haven't had chance to ride one yet. But definitely one we are keen to try and see how it performs!
I just brought a Nox, absolutely brilliant bike.
Thanks for sharing, glad you're enjoying it!
