Happy Game is a point and click psychedelic horror adventure game reminiscent of previous titles by Amanita Design but much darker. Player has to get through three worlds while solving various puzzles on his way.
Player also comes across various creatures that can kill him and often has to perform actions quickly to not be killed.

Happy game is a squid game rip off
For those people who think that Happy Game was made by the creators of Creaks or Machinarium: Amanita Design is actually split into three little teams, who work on their own games. The first team made Samorost and Machinarium, the second team made Botanicula, Chuchel and Happy Game, and the third team made Creaks.

This Whole Game was a Psychological Thrill Ride.
The Entire story is so open to the imagination that you can't exactly get a story together.
it's what makes this kind of horror amazing. It leaves your mind to fill in the details.
Not my type. I am kind of person who loke when story get explained when ot become confusing.

I wish the game was longer to see how far they can take this conceptbut then again it is a dream.i do hope they make happy game 2 then because i love this.
My interpentation is that the kid has been through dramatic stuff and created his fears ingame.the first part is his experience with bullies scaring him and toys.second part is playing with bunnies but having to use them for things.third part of being lost in the wild and loosing his best friend/pet. The last part could be him being stuck in the dream and worst future possible. Or could be him remembering his dream before dying but eh?
I'd want them to extend the game, maybe save Game 2 for another time.
Maybe he wanted The Bully, then his Mommy, and the Dog and Ball,

One thing I noticed, at the end of the game, when the boy is back in his room, there's a bigger ball and bunny plush. It's possible the dog that comes is a different one too. The truth must have been revealed to him as he grew up, further implementing his trauma, knowing he can never get those things back.

Whats ironic is after discovering and watching my first play through of this game is I took a nap after and immediately had a nightmare about it.
hint of achievements
1. keep walking to the wall on the left until u get the badge
2. pop the book in the 2nd honk noise from the toy train
3. i think idk this but pull all the heads from the stuff toy (the one that pulls to obtain the doll head)
4. simple, complete nightmare 1
5. make every hearts pop except for the strong guy and the fat guy
6. make the smiley head lick a blade
7. put out every bunny to the machine thing (total of bunnies when u have the badge afterwards)
8. same as achievement 4, complete nightmare 2
9. scared the child/player with a thunder (edit: scare him/her at least 2x or 3x)
10. stack 7 stones on the giant stone's head
11. beat the game

For me, some parts of the game work really well in double time (like the part where it flashes the boy getting impeded by the spike, I think the shorter flash makes it even more mysterious).

The Second Nightmare made me smile, until I saw that huge bunny. Yep, a cannibal. All that aside though, this game is amazing. Chilling soundtracks, amazing plot and an excellent job on the whole game. Way to go.
My favorite has to be the Second Nightmare because it’s pretty unique and even though it’s a bit disturbing, it’s pretty nice.

Ngl, this looks like the style of "there is no game" which is game that you need to do puzzles and find clues but with horror theme. That is awesome.

My fav characters are all of them but the smile is my real favourite character, also little boy and the bully are my favourites too ^^

Bells feelings in this game
Sad face = Unclear
Happy face = Clear
Now that I look back at it, it kind of feels like what it's like to have a sensory overload. Lights too bright, things too loud, everything scares you or is after you, and you have to put a fake smile on because if you don't, you're seen as odd or too sensitive.
This game reminds me of Chuchel in an odd way. I don't think most of you know that game. 😅🤣

Watching the full game play then watching a video explaining the game and its meaning/purpose then rewatching the full fame play is such an eye opener. But I do recommend watching the vid where they explain this game it’s actually a very sad story, like very very sad.

When I first played this game I had a bug. 1:04:25 skipped to 1:05:50, the part in between was omitted. And from this point until the end of the game, the player character was invisible. But I didn't know that and thought that he isn't there.. So everything was even weirder than it should be.
1:02:50 i pick the fish skeleton up and drag it to the top but it goes straight back into the water so i cant seem to do this part, any tips ?
Perhaps this is some kind of bug.
I could easily pull them out of the water, they did not return under water.
I just ended up dragging them sideways then up then it was sorted, definitely was a little buggy but still a beautiful game
look for the full gameplay because there are 2 youtubers who censored the hearts part and the time 1:04:33 (I don't know how to describe that puzzle) and well, also I wanted to see the achievements.
