ABC's "Be Near Me". Maybe the most 80's sounding song of all time.
Also, the break and guitar solo in "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" makes me feel like I'm about to have the best day ever.

A fine selection. 12" of Tower Of London dub and the ABCMegamix has been in my crate for decades.
I nominate *Out of Touch* by Hall and Oates for the _None More Eighties_ single title.
It is simply impossible to be more 80's than that song was.

Yaz - Only You. So I don’t remember a lot of 80s songs... unless I heard them later, but I stumbled on this song and it surprised me. It holds up. The synths are super interesting. I sent it to my friend, who was born in like 89 and asked him what he thought about it. He was blown away when he found out how old it is.

Level 42 was one of my favorite bands in the '80s, and they still are. I love the musicality of their songs. One of my absolute favorites by them is one that never got any airplay, (that I know of), but it's just so smooth. That song is "Dune Tune". Give it a listen.

IMO, their best album was Underneath The Colours. Every song on that is a great listen. It came out waaaay back in 1981, before they became semi-commercialized in the US from 1983 to 1986 and even more so in 1987-1988. Not a huge fan of them after 1990, but they were 👌.
