He cries because he understands the meaning of what he is reciting but also the thought of knowing that jesus pbuh is going to have to answer for this on the day of judgement Allah SWT is going to question him on this and him being a prophet AS his job was to deliver the message our beloved Nabi SAW talks about this how jesus pbuh will have crowds of people coming to him on the day of judgement to intercede for them and he will turn them away telling them the people took him as a God AS and now he has to face his lord how is he going to face his lord when he is in a state of anger that the people took jesus pbuh as a god
