    Also, things NECASSARY to be added :
    1) Ability to craft from your chests and storage, not just your immediate inventory.
    2) allow servants to automatically deposit their loot into storage
    Other minor but very useful suggestion:
    3) adjust how garden paths auto snap to position. If it was always freely placeable, that would be soooo much better.

      if you have ever played rust, you cant craft anything unless its in your inventory, i think this is fine and needs to stay. the durability loss in pvp is what gets me.. such a bitch to farm up repair mats on a full server lol. and there is only one full pvp server right now which makes me sad because i just got into this game for the pvp and there is one full server and like 2 or 3 that only have a few people on it. shame.

    It's nice to see you're acknowledging a problem and offering a solution. Most people would make another regurgitated build vid for views because it's something busted and unhealthy for the game; offering a greater advantage. Much respect and happy I subbed.

    You are so right about the pve aspects. I'm not a PvP player so rest idk much. Especially the sun. Since I'm in a private server, playing solo, I use server commands to become invulnerable to the sun, while building castle. It's impossible without that.

    I remember BLC and Battlerite - playerbase must push them to make changes because after year or two they will abandon project.

      @@civil_specter Yeah, but all systems in the game are kind of controversial, without PvP game looks boring, but PvP is also really a nich thing, since you need to constantly log and defend your castle etc. Very interesting concept, but still a poor implementation. Really hope that they will figure things out.

    I'd like to see an Elden Ring style separation of PVE and PVP. Maybe tag players as a unique unit type that modifies damage and CC numbers coming from or applied to units of that type. My reasoning being is that quite often balancing something for one ruins the balance of the other. The whip is currently both OP for PVP but dogshit in PVE so there is no real way to achieve a balance in both without separating the two mechanics.
    Would like to see movement speed boosting gear be a max health tier or two lower to offset the benefit of being able to dodge more attacks; basically make it higher risk vs reward as if you DO get hit it'll hurt a lot more than wearing the non movement speed buffed sets from that same tier. Maybe even have this as well as other PVP specific modifications in the server rules.

      Interesting take. In my opinion everything in a hardcore pvp survival game should be balanced around pvp not pve. If you can do both fine, but having something broken in pvp and bad in pve is not a feasible a trade off at all. you can just use different weapons for pve. Things that are too strong in pvp break the game and ruin the experience

      @@civil_specter Conversely I don't think PVE should be neglected as a SIGNIFICANT focus of the game is castle construction. I highly doubt the developers intended for the PVP experience to supersede the PVE one given that PVE servers and solo play are freely available, most of the server customisation options are PVE oriented and a significant amount of the development of the game has went into entirely superflous asthetic customisation and features that have little to no bearing on PVP. Ark or Rust this game is not!
      Of course I don't think PVP should be neglected either which is why my stance is that all features should work in both instead of one experience coming at the expense of the other!

    another change: dont let seeds automatically equip to hotbar so you don't try to plant seeds in the middle of a fight like civil does at 3:50 XD

    i do want to add that the developer did say he didnt need anyone to enjoy the game when it was built so i honestly dont see any changes coming

I mean in some ways I understand it if the devs enjoy playing the game from a single player aspect, but on the other hand I feel like they owe it to their community to make appropriate adjustments for as long as the community is paying their bills

    There wasnt any.
    Discharge. It shouldnt be unclear at what range it only pulls you instead of pull + stun, and it makes no sense whatsoever that it can stun you during s. The recast could be kept if it was conditional, only getting the option if something hit the counter.
    Soulburn. Getting silenced after inputting instead of upon inputting is not because of lag or server. Its just how it works. If you do a long animation, enemy can just soulburn you and you get silenced because you didnt finish the animation before getting spellblocked. In general this spell should get deleted. Its either close to useless or extremely broken if you get the 2+ second silence. What fun is there demolishing a player just because they got silenced for 2+ seconds one time?

      Those are more good points I didn't think of while I wrote the script for this video. I wrote out everything I said so it ended up being a whole thesis statement, and I definitely missed some things along the way. Thanks you for the support as well

    Vamp combat doesn't need to be changed, majority of the time the ganking team start off at a health advantage so punishing an early death further would make ganking instead of farming way too hard to retaliate against.
    The movepseed and armor problem is much simpler, if it was given the 25% stat cap like damage reduction has and change flat movespeed buffs, ie jewel and veil effect all to the new fading haste stat that is on rage/surge
    Whip strong yep
    You can turn any recipe off by clicking the blue box next to the recipe on every work station, usually do EMP / Canisters aswell
    Sun is fine, keep blood key in inventory for when you get combo'd in the sun or need to bat hop back to a fight during the day
    Spell balance meta varies way too much between 1v1, duo, quads and even pve. Imo builds for quads is more interesting than gloomrot, duo is meh and 1v1 boring af
    There's definitely other issues that are pressing aswell, ie insta fear tech, stair/doorway raiding meta
    Cool vid but, unfortunately I'm starting to lose all hope as a long time veteran of the game haha

      I think that regardless of how the fight is initiated, death should be a disadvantage. I also think there are plenty of fights that start on relatively equal footing.
      Stat capping move speed and making it fading could also potentially work. As move speed seemed balanced in gloom though when all base move speed was the same, I feel like this is a case of 'if it aint broke don't fix it'. Move speed worked fine before when it was all equal.
      I know about the recipe toggle too, but it's just irritating in the first place and when you're trying to race against other teams for shards and resources it's easy to forget.
      I would say balance varies by team size. There are a whole bunch of things in the spell tree I think could use adjusting but I felt that the ones I mentioned were both meta defining and maybe gamebreaking across multiple party sizes and just had way too much to offer in comparison to other seemingly similar spells.
      And yea I didn't even touch on raiding. I think a lot of those issues would probably be far more difficult to tackle with many different opinions as well.
      And thank you for the support. I haven't quite lost hope yet, but active servers are becoming few and far between. At least now I can say I tried if things don't last...

    The problem I have without even watching the video is after you beat every single boss in Brutal, Whats really left? Hunting down legendary weapons? PvP? If I want to PvP I can go to a PvP server that gives me end game sets of armor and several weapons to choose from with Arena's against other players. The game has the identity of a Single Player game with Co-Op and PvP side content part of the game. Once you beat every boss there's nothing to keep you besides harassing the local player base no matter the level.

      I think that this might be more of a case of differing personal preference on game structure. I thirst for PvP in all gaming environments, even more so when the stakes are higher and somewhat unpredictable like in open-world scenarios. I do however wholeheartedly agree with you in that this game is lacking content. I had a bunch of suggestions in that regard initially planned for this video, but when I saw how long he video was going to be already I decided to compartmentalize in favor of the most important half releasing now and maybe content suggestions later on. It will also allow me to gauge how much my voice/videos matter in the grand scheme of things, because if Stunlock just isn't interested than I am not going to spend a whole lot more effort, like I did for this video, in another one. I also despise when games I like focus on content over fixes and balancing, which sadly is the way gaming companies are run these days since you can sell a DLC but not a bug fix/balance patch

    Double counter isn't a problem, you should always have a sword on you or just don't attack when they counter.

      maybe in gloomrot thats true, but with 3 weapons missing no single one should be required. If double counter is solved by sword nerf it, not everyone has sword

      Sword is no even a valid counter, competent pvpers will just spear Q you or push you away if its discharge.

      There are 8 weapon slots and like 11 weapons in the game. Since you can't change your spells mid combat, and its really hard to change your equipment without taking a lot of damage; there shouldn't be a single weapon in the game that you 'must have'. No build should be broken enough to create must have's for the opponents. Everybody should be free to play what they want and still have the opportunity to win fights. That is my definition of balance

      I don't know. That's still a slippery slope. I don't think double counter is healthy for the game. If it was, and it just needed a workaround maybe you could be right.

    I want the bow and xbow to be buffed if anything, those are way too slow and mostly only suited for PvE, since as you said, it's virtually impossible to hit players with fast charging skillshots, but now imagine this with autos that take twice the amount of time to charge, and the spells on them themselves also do virtually nothing, meaning you must always get close.
    Also there are tons of changes I disagree with you on here, like static shroud and mosquito are busted, but not really, in a 1v1 they are but in clan wars if your clan has AoE offensive spells and one defensive spell you kinda substituted damage output for longevity while the other clan steam rolls you.
    In short, you can and will get hardly punished if you run mosquito by offensive veteran players, like for example if you hug a mosquito just use void for its duration so they will burn if they stand next to it into a a spear E than Q, if you can't land E you can always use an ult to get close such as chaos charge which has an AoE stun you can stop as soon as the guy finishes his dash which will land you next to him stunned, there are other ways of dealing with it but this is just one of them, and on the list of broken spells idk why you didn't mention frost shroud which can apply an AoE frost stun, like the entire frost tree with its passive are stuns for days

      So I've read your comment a couple of times. I believe there is a language barrier. I believe when you say static shroud you mean what is called 'Discharge' in the English version of the game and when you say frost shroud you are talking about what is 'Coldsnap' to us. Both of those things I did mention definitely need to be nerfed. As far as how you choose to deal with mosquito, there are certainly ways, especially with a full squad. everyone can run void and just void the mosquito every time. But when good players play a good mosquito build it is brutal. And having to run specific spells or rely on numbers as an advantage isn't a realistic way to counter it since you can't change your spells mid fight and not everybody has somebody to play with let alone 3 people. In any case you are certainly entitled to your opinion either way :)

      @civil_specter ya, thanks for correcting me, coldsnap and discharge are my bane, no one runs both because of soulburn which can invalidate both, but as far as mosquito unlike the others I can always outrun it after dealing a burst of damage, the other 2 and the whole frost tree are something I can't really avoid, and I played against a few mosquito builds, the most impossible one was Death Knight/Ward of the damned + Mosquito + Volatile Arachnid because the guy used the spawned mobs to block any attack and even with Frost spells it didn't stop the mobs from attacking me slowly while the guy attacked from a distance.
      Like I stopped complaining about spells unless it's the topic and Mosquito is the last of my complaints since mid fight you can't always fully heal and if by chance the other guy is at full health after a fight than it's probably skill issues rather than the spell itself.
      But yea the frost tree and 3 of the electric spells are the most busted and most commonly used, mosquito on the other hand is quite rare on PvP servers.

      Yes that's true because of the simple fact that the majority of gamers are PvE gamers and that would be the end of the content for people in that category

    I love this game but meta is kinda dogshit atm. Most people just playing double counters and waiting for Spear Q cooldown (in OWPVP) . During raids defenders just play Mosquito/Void and Death Knight, all of this in a close type castle making it impossible to dodge and getting combat mode due to death knight 100% of the time unless you go way out of the castle.
    Stunlock must do "types" of spells, the idea is that you're allowed to equip only one type of each spell (let's say counter, they make a "counter" category for skills and you can only equip one).

    it is not like that skills needs nerfs, is the other skills that need buffs. Like the veils are only two viable because the others are so shit. why the f would I want to summon a f dumb skeleton that triggers all the counters just after ive used veil? lol

    I'd just want to see Scholar being viable in open world, (without relying on mosquito) This double counter/Blood rage cold snap/discharge shit is so boring. Also rogues being able to do laps around the map while a scholar feels like a toddler crawling away is cringe, Make everyone the same MS but give rogues more damage less HP, Warriors more HP less damage, Scholars just get recasts and are squishy like everyone other game that has a class system almost. Also standing still while using a bow/xbow for 3 seconds is a fucking joke, If you want to primarily use the bow as your main weapon you legit have no options, should be used for more than 3 autos in the beginning of a fight or just to use a xbow E.
