Heal Our Land

COVID-19 is having a dramatic effect worldwide. Many people passed away and those being diagnosed of this illness have been left with ongoing health problems. The effects of this pandemic have not only been physical, but have also significantly affected mental health, economic, and even one’s spiritual aspect which is a serious problem.
However, Christ’s desire for his people is to experience health in the present. He is just as willing to heal the sick now as when He was personally on earth. Never does our merciful God turn from the soul that in sincerity seeks Him for help. He is our refuge in sickness as in health.
Most of all, He is willing to forgive our sins as spiritual health directly affects the physical health we seek to preserve. Adherence to spiritual norms lead to direct behavioral changes, better lifestyle choices, and better physical health.
In 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
