    Ironic...I don't see one African American attendee in the audience. Tom Henderson Wells' book, The Slave Ship Wanderer, was published in 1967.

      +Anthony Knight Hello Anthony. I live in Savannah and have lived here my entire life. We are not informed of many of these events so unfortunately when we hear about it , the event has already happened. Sad but the reality of the city that I live in. Even more unfortunate, I am almost 50 and had not heard of this until recently. Our history is not taught in the schools in Savannah.

    Charles Augustus Lafayette Lamar , my second cousin five times removed...he was also the last confederate officer killed in the civil war...is buried in Savannah in the Laurel Grove Cemetary.
