Such an interesting career path! I think a good question for viewers who are curious specifically about becoming a traveling csa would be how does traveling interfere with family, relationships, Airbnb’s, car rentals? Etc Great first video!
Thankfully, i didnt have to go to school for 2 years to be a CST, even though now 3 years later, they are trying to push the associates lol but being a tech first does help with the transition because you are already comfortable in the operating room
Yes that is true. The school I went to pretty much prepared is to work at their specific hospital. I learned a lot once I started working somewhere else.
@@hashim9899 i was not a CST before so I can tell you jobs will hire you without tech experience. You just have to keep looking and searching. Try reaching out to the facility and sell yourself and explain what you can do.
Being a CSA sounds so important! The surgeon wouldn't be able to go through this without you. Good work 👍👏
Thank you💛
I love it

Where have you been since you traveled?
So far I’ve been to Illinois and Florida ☀️
What made you want to be a travel as a CSA?
Earn money, learn more skills, visit different hospitals!!
I have ABSA certification for C-SA I’m a foreign medical graduate. Can you refer me any place to work
I would recommend indeed and search up “surgical first assistant jobs” you’re able to put it whatever location is convenient for you
@@alejandragalvan2086 yes I have been doing that but they always ask for CST background

@@alejandragalvan2086 one other question, a lot of states need CSA license to practice, how do you cope with it??
@@hashim9899 Virginia is one of them. I’m not sure about the rest. But the states I have worked in only required CSA certification.

😢😮
Is CSA and CSFA the same?
Yes different certifying bodies
When did you first notice you wanted to work in the medical field?
