I was a union man and a Democrat when I moved to NY in 1984. I left in '92 for work. But, the Democrats have gotten so bad, that I went Independent in 2015. I hope that guy is right about "a 45-state landslide."

The democrat machine is strong in NY, CA, IL, & MI. Just look at the tight control they have on the subjects who live there. Look at the amount of taxes they pay!
Can't forget Wisconsin. I was raised Democrat in SE Mass but moved here in 1995, and I switched parties around 2000. The heavy concentration of democrats in Milwaukee and Madison (the state capitol and a college city) push the state to blue. There are many Republicans in the state but not enough to overcome the influence of those two voting blocks or the straight up lazy who just vote their historic party line.
@gregoryking9348 Massachusetts has accepted the "hold my beer" challenge on gun control from California. I was stationed there years ago and have been back a few times since. It always looks better in the rear view mirror or the little window on the plane. Virginia is more purple than the blue of a few years ago. Two parts of the state make up the majority unfortunately.
It's strong in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint and Lansing.
Everything else is Red in Michigan.
Even worse than that.. Suburbs and rural houseowners get a rebate (small) on home taxes paid. People WHO DONT OWN OR PAY PROPERTY TAXES also get a rebate and they get more because it is based on income. So unfair
To be clear what I just described on rebates is in New York as the Democrats buy votes

@@janetegner7244 it’s kind of close actually that breaks down to 150 a month so home valued at 170 would be around the same as i would paying. I’m currently in Arizona in a $340,000 home and the taxes here are a little over $50 a month.
